Last week the Storm lay all over us and their line speed was so good that I couldn't believe they weren't going early. That was compounded by the referee calling out our markers after the tackled players had stepped forward off the mark opening up our middle. This combined with the hard to understand 6 again calls in the last 10 minutes made this a memorable win against all odds.

Agree, i was shouting at the screen for the ref to ping the cheats for laying to long on the player. The last 10min was just heroic from our guys to keep them from scoring.

It’s the Storm’s consistent “crowding” and intentional entanglement when the player is on their feet trying to play the ball that they get away with that really sh*ts me; much more so than laying in the tackle (which I reckon they’re no worse than most other teams at the moment).

Commented about this very thing on Friday night, it's even more so at AMMI Park were it's virtually cartblange for the cheats to use a variety of grappling holds. Surely the refs are awake to this, but let a lot go especially at AMMI Park.

Yep, they do it because they can get away with it, but why do the refs let allow it when it's so bloody obvious!

They must have a system of when in the tackle they count in their heads how many seconds they have to get of the tackled player before they get pinged. Bellyache has really perfected this over many years now.
