Moley: Another club to get in salary cap trouble

I asked the mole on Twitter if it was manly, he didn't reply but just hit the like button. I then said, "so it is manly" and again he didn't reply but just hit the like button

So from the commentary on twitter, the team is not one starting with a P, it is not the Knights or the Tigers and it is an animal.

If it relates to the Foran TPA then it most likely revolves around Perry who no longer works for the club.

Just another reason to hate Foran

Mole hates Manly, so take his 'like' as a delight in tormenting a Manly Fan @

Our roster has been defunct of a host of high earners for the past 3 seasons.
We even off loaded Choc a year early, giving us more room in 2015:wait:

How could the knights possibly be over the cap, they haven't really recruited anyone and have lost players. They would have to be paying some average players some serious cash if it were true. Also as they are nrl run and it has taken until now to work it out that is just too embarrassing to believe

What's strange about all this business is this salary cap is so easy to rort legally it boggles the mind how clubs get busted. Teams like the Broncos, Roosters will be legally paying hundreds of thousands more than other teams with far weaker rosters, yet these other teams will be declared over the salary cap.

The real crime when a club get's busted for salary cap is STUPIDITY and poor management cause the NRL doesn't really want to catch anyone and sets up the back doors so it they can be systematically bypassed.

So whoever it is you'd predict a club with lots of boardroom trouble over the past few years ......eg Newcastle, Tigers, and that mob from the Northern beaches d'oh.

Well it is usually from a disgruntled ex employee. Have Manly fired many people lately?

If this is revolving around the McClymont story then it isn't us. She says the following:

"In 2010 the self-confessed bagman was called upon to pay almost $100,000 in cash to a one-time Queensland State of Origin star to sweeten the deal for the famous player to sign with a new club.

Such was the interest in the player, his signing delivered more than 10,000 "bums on seats" at the home games, the bagman told Fairfax Media."

In 2010 the scum were busted cheating and offloaded Inglis to souffs. That seems to be the most likely fit to that scenario.

Would he be a 'one time' QLD state of origin player though?

She's investigating further.
