Be careful what you wish for.
The last time we were without a proper CEO, we had the brilliant Gary Wolman as interim CEO. Gary’s main claim to rugba league fame is presiding over the Rainbowgate affair.
Of course he had nothing to answer for in the wash up. After all, he’s a co-owner. If Mestrov is forced to leave, it’s odds on that Wolman will be back in the saddle, for what I believe will be his third stint as interim CEO.
