Do you mean the Mike McLean who played Origin for Qld in 1991-92? He started his career at the Easts Tigers in Brisbane before moving to the Chooks where he played 52 games (1985-90), 17 for Newcastle (1991) and 16 games for the Gold Coast Seagulls in 1992.
