Des just turned 58, nearly 60 is a bit premature, he still has nearly 2 years left in his 50's to be fair.

Monnas is one of my all time favourite players so I'd be stoked to see him get another crack at winning a premiership for us. In a way he was unlucky because him and a few player like him kicked off our decade of dominance but never reaped the rewards.
