Hmmm ... interesting. No Jamie Lyon, no Brenton Lawrence and Gifty apparently a reserve with Blair at lock????

Matai, Wolf and Chee-Cam's exclusion was expected but five injuries of first grade (or potential 1st grade) players already at the start of the season is a bit of concern.

Hopefully they're just keeping Killer, Matai and BJ on ice for a week but clearly, 2V likes what he sees in Santini (apparently best mates with Tafua).

Interesting Squad only a trial so Im not overly worried but the front row rotation of Starling , Lawrence , Hasson , Lui and Soa is very raw and inexperianced.

King to come back in 219 games. Lawrence 45 games, Lui has 32 first grade games, Starling 7 games, Hasson 11 games plus 3 world cup games. We'll be ok

they can't pick everyone. Will be interesting to see how Hodges goes. Looking at that list and considering the players out, we do have good depth.

Although it’s only a trial, emotions are set to run high on Saturday night with a host of Parramatta players returning to Brookvale Oval to face their old club.

The NYC scored 8 tries, just like Parra, but we missed the goals - 40-48 was the score.

Best was Tom Turbo, he seems very tall and was into everything at fullback. Scored 3 tries.

Will Pearson also great, scored a try and kicked a crossfield bomb for another.

He is on the warm up bemch for NRL with Charlie T,Michael Stigg and Leonati F.

Charlie Taylor is another to watch in 2014.

Brookie is home about 3k people here, catching up with each other and excited about 2014
