I just saw the Dally M points for yesterday’s game and obviously TomT received the 3 votes and I can live with RTS getting the 2 but did DCE deserve the 1 vote?Thought Keppie was deserving of at least a vote.DCE got the 1 vote last week in the Panthers game and I can’t remember him doing much at all.The Dally M awards have become a joke and a stain on the game over the last 10 or so years

It is so obvious that they just choose the big name players. Sometimes I question if they even watched the game! Love Daly so so so much and thought he played great, but I agree, Keppie or Saab should have got the points ahead of him

Very much a roller coaster performance and one that I believe will displease Des.

I think Des would be thrilled we got a win yesterday, because that was a really big effort. Paseka with 50 games and Keppie with 29 leading our pack?!
A pack that included Josh and Haumole with barely a dozen games between them, Sipley with about 20, Saddler on debut, and a rookie rake who's only started a few times in the position.
A great learning experience, and many anxious moments for me watching, but although he probably would not say it out loud I'm sure Des was happy.

I was at the ground and I thought our best were clearly Tom first, then Keppie, then Saab. They were each outstanding. But did you hear the comments by Warrior's coach post game? After watching the replay later I could understand what he meant.

It's like they have no aptitude for reading a game so they look for a single big play like the 40/20. If its a name player like DCE then its a guaranteed Dally M point because they're a name player, so they must've done everything else in the match right as well.

He also gave away a 7 tackle set with a brainless kick on the 3rd tackle with 5 minutes to go which nearly squared the match in their favour and didnt seem to do anything else exceptional from where I was sitting.

That said I didn't see the replay so I could be way off the mark here
