I honestly think keeping Moses on the bench was a masterstroke given the match. Hid defence is shaky at best and given he would have moved onto an edge the NZW could have scored 10 in 10. if it had have been 36 - 10 then he would have had a run.

**** game we only really play for a section of 15 mins in the first half and 25 after half time. but we get the two points. lots to be excited about Saab is a keeper. Keppie is starting to delivery on the potential he showed in the 2019 final series. friday night is an important one for us.

But mate after 4 games the illuminati on here were demanding Saab be punted because he was so ****. terrible player was the reoccurring headline. Thank the Gods ( sorry I'm watching Battlestar Galactica at the moment and that saying is burned into my brain) the old out of touch dinosaur Des Hasler actually saw some upside in the 20yo rookie.

It was a strange game today. Lots of brilliance, lots of errors, lots of character and some really dumb play at times.

Very much a roller coaster performance and one that I believe will displease Des. The three Warriors tries all came of the back of Manly not respecting the ball. The next set conceding 20 very soft points in the first half, the first two tries were ridiculous and our ruck was badly exposed.

The two tries from Tommy kept us in the game early and the last 15 minutes of both halves today are a big concern for the team.

I sensed at half time that it was all about Manly respecting the ball and the chances would come. The first 25 minutes of the 2nd half were amazing from the team. Tommy led the charge and they carved up the Warriors for fun. The tries scored were amazing and it was exciting to watch and you see the potential of what the team is capable with the ball.

At 36-20 with 13 minutes to go was a chance to really go on with it and again Manly got lazy, losing the ball and allowing the Warriors back into the game. Our ineptitude to deal with attacking kicks continues to dog us and two tries conceded today really cost the team.

The team has to learn to close out a game and it means that game management is really important and we saw a lack of that in the last ten minutes and an errant kick with 2 minutes to go was nearly very costly.

It was a Jeckyl and Hyde performance today in my view. Great character to turn around a 12-20 half time deficit and play some scintillating footy to bounce back and take control of the contest.

The vidiots continue to bewilder me. Oka scored a try, the ref gave it and then the bunker overturned it. It frustrates me how much the video refs decisions impact on so many games.

There was a lot to like about today. It is such a shame that the crowd of under 7K was pretty pathetic and a reminder to the leadership of the club that the ridiculous high prices is turning fans off going to games!

We are now 4-5 after being 0-4 and that is a pleasing comeback. Our draw was a tough one to start the year and this team is in the finals race and has so much improvement in them!!

I’m just happy with a win. 5 weeks ago, we were staring down 5 straight losses. Now we’ve won 4 of our last 5. Today’s game was always going to be a 50/50 proposition. Yes it got close at the end but that’s how the Warriors play. The bottom line is we won.
On to Brisbane next Friday.

Yea you have a point but I would prefer if we concentrated on getting the kicks right in the first place. A lot of these teams seem to be kicking as high as they can hoping the other team will drop it. I find that is a one off bit of pressure, as I would prefer to be a little more clinical than that. It seems the in thing now and that style of play is “cross your fingers and hope for the best“ stuff. We def need to be more deliberate in our play using our brains a little more. That’s what the best teams do. I agree mate. When we jump up for the ball we need a plan Instead of going through the motions. Maybe then we can take our game to the next level. Def needs attention that’s for sure.

Although those posts were made at the time so they hold some merit imo. Also they are made when emotions are running hot (is that the saying?) and are amplified as a result. I think some bring up valid points, as do yours as well. That’s just the nature of forums but that first half certainly wont set a benchmark. It was pretty poor. 2nd half was a lot better !!
