Team Tips: Josh Aloiai is expected to be back on deck for the Warriors clash. If he is, that will push Nathan Brown to the bench. Speedster Tolu Koula is nearing a return from a knee injury. Other than that, don’t expect Anthony Seibold to make any changes to the side that thrashed Canberra last weekend.

Team Tips: Shaun Johnson was a late out of the clash against the Dolphins. Following the game, coach Andrew Webster said the star halfback will “definitely” be available for selection. With their top eight hopes officially over, the Warriors will want to send the retiring Johnson out on a high note over the final four rounds. Marcelo Montoya is in line to return on the wing, with Ed Kosi the player to likely make way.

Thats good for us Johnson has been ordinary this year.

In the last month of every season once a team accepts its playoff chances are done, they are prone to start throwing the ball around and chancing their arm. If the ball sticks, they can cause an upset. If it all implodes, they get flogged.

Take your pick.

And imo Johnson plays his best footy when he has no responsibility.

yes and it wouldn't be the first time they have upset us at home.
I remember a few years ago when that grub Hetherington illegally KO'd Marty and stayed on the field and we lost .
Manly cannot take them lightly ,also they will have AFB keen to get a win so we have to make sure he is put on his back as much as possible and watch him close to the line especially

Team named is one of the strongest this season
Both sides are pretty much full strength
If we think this is a guaranteed win then warriors could cause a major upset
I will take any sort of win on Friday night
Think this will be a lot closer than people think

Does anyone know if Jake Simpkin is injured? If not, I reckon he’s pretty unlucky to lose his spot to Gordie - albeit Gordie is playing pretty well too. I just think Simpkin filled in admirably for Croker whilst he was injured and probably deserves the bench spot ahead of Gordie ATM. His service out of DH is a bit quicker and more accurate. Gordie has a habit of pausing momentarily when he grips the ball before passing it, giving the defence slightly longer to get to our runners.

Forecast now says 50% chance 0 to 2mm of rain. So looks like it should be a reasonably dry track. I think the rain will help the Warriors as we score most tries spreading the ball.

Not injured, played 72 min for BWSE.

They named a strong team and have Johnson back to kick goals (his goalkicking alone would have won them a game or two recently)
Danger side but hard to see how they could be 'up' for this game. Odds makers agree...

He has been named at 9 for BWSE this weekend.

yes I think Simkin is very unlucky to lose his spot TBH and not to even be on the reserves list .
I love Croaks for his defence but you can just tell the difference when either Gordy or Simpkins is running that pack .Anyways I guess that's why I'm not the coach, but we better be tuned in, the Wah's have a very good team and this will not be easy.

He's named at 9 for Blacktown, with Matt Lodge on one side, Woods on the other.

I wish Karl had been asked if there's any chance he can do a backflip with the Cows. Easy to say in hindsight, but as this season's turned out he'd be better off staying at Manly with an edge position sewn up.
