Game Day: Manly v Titans [Round 6, 2021]

I think Titans will win comfortably but I think we take some more steps and are pretty competitive all day and the boys have a good dig. Looking forward to watching Haumole and just seeing how he matches up with the big boys. Just want Turbo to get through injury free and the forwards to give the Titans pack a bit of old fashioned smash mouth footy for a lot of the game. Up off the line - smashing then in defence and then ramming it through the middle when we have the ball. I hope the boys cause a big upset though but think we are a couple of weeks short of some really good footy...... as long as there are no more injuries.

I think to really help our cause we have to focus on NO TRIES for Titans in the last 5-10 mins of the first half. Has happened wayyyy to often and destroys our momentum/confidence.

Hope doesnt outweigh the fact we are carrying some non achievers. The warriors posession rate was woeful. Essentially we made them come down to our level. They gifted us a try, another from a trick shot but we were better than we had been, and marginally better than the warriors

Plenty of panic when we got close to the line last week, desperate individual attempts to score , which paints a picture or whete we are at

Will we rise to a new level. That is the key

I tell u one thing watching Storm Roosters game.. Our line speed in defence is slow motion like compared to the good teams. In fact sadly, everything is. We need to play 25% faster in all areas if we're gonna get within cooooeyyyy of the top 8 this year. Go Manly!
