Haumole Olakau'atu to miss two Manly games

Manly Warringah second-rower Haumole Olakau'atu will miss the next two Sea Eagles games after accepting an early guilty plea for his role in the Origin Three melee on Wednesday night.

I hate agreeing with Gordon Tallis, but if last night had happened in a junior game ... Haumole and Cam Murray would be looking at 12 month bans from the game.

And its likely that their team would also get sanctions.

Yet in the NRL they get 2 games each and that's it. Sends a great message doesn't it....

Whatever punishments Murray & Oka got Nanai should have too. Coming in 3rd man from behind driving his shoulder into Luai’s ribs is why it kicked off. If they just left it 1v1 none of this happens

Tallis, employed by the Titans, had no comment about Fotuaika being involved while wearing his bench jacket. No charge or fine for him either, absolute joke. Didn’t have anything to say about Kaufusi either

When you are not even playing in the game, running off the bench and getting involved in a fight in any way shape or form is stupidity.

Both are lucky its the weak as pi$$ NRL because they honestly should be looking at longer bans.

I would agree if it was actually a fight. Not a single punch thrown and Haumole’s part was purely to separate people.

That is not worth anywhere near 12 months. I question if it’s even worth 2 weeks.
