Teams have well and truly worked out how to blunt our attack.
At times this year we carved teams up rucking like we were playing touch footy and that centered around Finau, DCE and TTurbo. Melbourne, Warriors and now the Tigers have worked out if they just rush up in our faces, JTurbo, AFB & Marty can't get that roll on that we can play on the back of.....

Exactly this- the refs are letting them slow down our play the ball, hence them being set in defence every tackle.

Agree. Seems like the strategy is to give away penalties, put us off our rhythm and trust that the refs will eventually get sick of blowing the whistle. Pretty safe bet in the NRL.

Call it whatever you want, either way it's working regardless if it's right or wrong and if we want to make any kind of impression in the finals we need to find a way around it.

I do agree it's been a bit clunky from us but I also believe the way the Tigers are defending is definitely a contributing factor. If they can work it out and do it then imagine what the Melbourne, Roosters, Raiders and South's will do

And that play and the following set of 6 showed how differently they ref different sides. Jetski got done for obstruction there, yet in the Tigpies set of 6 there was a clear cut obstruction that wasn't called.

I think it's worked, how the refs haven't blown the whistle yet is beyond me.
