The storm do a few things well. The biggest is fighting for a quick play the ball and stepping off the mark.

Well , despite all you doom & gloom merchants , since the 3 try’s in 8 minutes we’ve actually looked the better side for the rest of that half.

This game isn’t over by a long shot.

The difference , when Simpkin came on we started going forward , and Bully a big part of that.

Other than the misguided kick, yes he has been.

Burbo's biggest problem is everyone expects him to attack like Turbo and tackle like Jake and when he doesn't they fob him off as being useless.

One day people will take Ben for actually just being ... Ben.

Have to be proud of their effort; we’ve clearly got an inferior middle, which was exposed in Melbourne’s five minute blitz, but we do have heart.

I am not impressed with the standard of refereeing. There were a few occasions where Melbourne slowed us down but hadn’t won contact and we should have been given a set restart.

The biggest difference in the two sides so far, is Melbourne find their front with the ball on almost every ruck. Until our defence is able to slow their ruck down by winning contact and putting Melbourne on their back, they’ll have the points to win this in the second half.

I never come into these threads, but knowing he is a whipping boy thought I’d make an appearance. He is running very good, tough lines and he is getting good ball, and it is also freeing up Koula a bit with the room he is providing
