I hate to say it, but I really can't see us winning today.

Losing Paseka and even Aloiai is huge, and i think the Storm will get well on top of us up front.

Hope to be proven wrong.
Today is a huge test for us. Our character, our resolve, our pride.

I hate to agree with you but I do.

Paseka and Aloiai are big outs for us up front and Hughes in is another hurdle.

I'm off to Brookie where either my heart or my head will get a win. Go Manly!!

I'm just hoping no Manly player gets sin binned today. This crackdown has become a joke and another blight on the game.
Yeah, nobody should be surprised if this happens. The NRL Crackdown of the Week has been in full force this round, so players on both sides should be on notice. Whether they're smart enough to act accordingly remains to be seen.

Sadly games against Storm are never a two-sided contest.
Storm are playing today not only against Manly, but also the 3rd member of this tri-sided contest, the rules and officials and trying to either milk them or get the better of them.
Yes, Harry Grant, I'm looking at you.

Hmmmm

So to be clear, @globaleagle is responsible for unlocking the thread AND brags about posting first?

Scandal! We have a scandal right here at Silvertails 😳😳😳
No, he is not responsible for unlocking the thread. It is just the majority of the time (because he is in a different timezone), he tends to beat me to unlock it and post first, no matter what time past midnight that I go to unlock it.

Here are some facts to consider for this game:
  • We came into this round in 2nd place on the NRL Ladder.
  • We were leading the competition on attack points, and we were tying in 7th position in defence.
  • We also had the highest differential of +52.
Lets just hope that we can put in a good performance this afternoon, and tighten up the defence so that our position on the ladder doesn't fall too far from what it already has so far in this round.

Just watched The Fan rehashing the BoB. What a fantastic night that was. Time to revive the past and bash the sh*t out of them again. Looking at you Haumole, Brown. TKO, Jake and Bulle.

Think we can only drop one place on the ladder, but a win is what it’s all about, a win by 15 or more could see us on top, not to worried about that, but a win by any margin would be great, fantastic even given the circumstances and keep us in the 4.

Get a bit of the rub of the green, hopefully catch Melbourne on a off day and we have a chance. Especially playing at brookie (think we’ve beat them the last 3 times at brookie)
