From the Manly Sea Eagles website, here is the ' Rd 11 Sea Eagles Injury Report' released on Tuesday 21 May 2024:

Matthew Lodge underwent surgery today for a bicep repair. He is expected to return to play 12 weeks post surgery.

Lachlan Croker (Rd 9 vs Canberra) has an associated neck injury from the original concussion that is not conducive to a safe return at this stage.

Tom Trbojevic (Rd 10 vs Dolphins) has commenced rehab on field and in the gym for his hamstring injury.

From the 'NRL Casualty Ward - All the Latest Injury News, Updates & Returns Details' web page, Here is the Latest NRL Injured or Unavailable Update:

* * * (Updated: Thursday, 23 May 2024) * * *

The Sea Eagles have been given a boost ahead of their clash with Melbourne after winger Jason Saab was named to return from a shoulder injury a week earlier than expected and Nathan Brown returning from a quad injury.

However, forward Matt Lodge will spend the next 12 weeks on the sideline after undergoing surgery on a bicep injury he suffered against the Broncos on Friday, while Lachlan Croker remains sidelined with an inner ear issue which is effecting his balance and Tolu Koula was a late withdrawal for Round 12 due to a shoulder injury.

Manly Sea Eagles
  • Tolutau Koula (Shoulder, TBC)
  • Nathan Brown (Quad, Round 12)
  • Jason Saab (Shoulder, Round 12)
  • Lachlan Croker (Neck, TBC)
  • Tom Trbojevic (Hamstring, Round 18)
  • Matt Lodge (Bicep, Round 24)

Also, from the NRL Casualty Ward, Manly hub page, there are slight variations to the information regarding the unavailable or injured players and their return periods:
  • Jason Saab (Shoulder, Round 14)
  • Tom Trbojevic (Hamstring, Round 18)
  • Matt Lodge (Bicep, Round 24)
  • Lachlan Croker (Neck, TBC)
  • Tolutau Koula (Shoulder, TBC)

I've been a little quiet on here lately. Life has been, let's say, challenging.

So I'd dearly love Manly to give us some good memories tonight.

Be strong defensively, score one or two of those beautiful long range tries, hear the Manly chant from the crowd, and listen to our victory song during the Storm's presser.

Go Manly.

I think we will be "up" and be in the contest. My biggest concern is that the Storm have two big, mobile wingers and may expose our outside back defence. Points will be hard earned for us, Storm will spread the ball wide at every opportunity in our half. Concerned!

I think we will get flogged…. But I hope Hoppa has a good game… for the sake of his mental health!

The best I can offer is that I don't have a terrible feeling about this game.

Oh, and go, you farkin' Eagles!
Same, nothing horrible yet but i thought we had a Saturday game. Dread might be served with lunch

I just never fancy ourselves against well drilled sides

We have competed with melb quite well in recent showings despite struggling against top 4 teams

Melb struggle to put us away at times. I think our lack of structure frustrates them and I tend to remember some un melbourne like performances against us, particularly poor handling . And its at brookie, and the storm are generally well received by the friday beer crowd

But i picked storm for tips. Hope i lose

Thank you Ry.

If only everyone was as fortunate as me, to have someone like you in their corner.

Helps that we, um, like each other, too 😋 😘

Now, can Manly please get their act together and start winning again!

I think we can match them across the park due to no Munster or Papenhauzen.

Pity Koula is out. (He is the only real strike player in our roster).

Still Harry and Hughes could give us a bath, but surely we can devise a plan to stop them.

Our biggest probelm is our bench, not one of our bench players would make their 17.

Well coaching is probably an even bigger issue.

Manly by 8 if DCE stands up and leads.

Haumole MOM.

No injuries, please.
