i agree sadly and when tommy comes i bet we put a few scores on teams but it will be to little to late.

Well few told me who Hopoate would replace well there a few. Not here to rub egg on faces, but we got by last year because fainu was cutting teams up the middle.
Des needs to show some balls cust starts at 9 to give us some ruck advantage he was good and blood young hopa ffs. Dce was pud useless whatever can kick field goals that’s it. Levi got no idea

Could see this one coming. A pedestrian backline in the Barrett mould. Mistake Des. The door was left open for the Sharks. Please Des stop playing safe and get Schuster and Hoppa in there. I know they are young and inexperienced, but they are quite frankly better than several on the field today. Hopefully Suli will be back. My fear is that Des will rationalise, and then put on much the same backline next week. If he does against the Knights, they'll thump us.

Yes was very poor choice of Des to play JetSki in the middle over Paseka and Keppie. It gave the Sharks middle men a huge advantage.

I hate this no accountable 6 again call that can be used by refs to steer the game anyway they like without any accountability. No explanation needed.

Agree Jerry, The intention is good but it will be interesting to watch during the finals. The game has always benefited the team in possession, penalty line kicks up the field etc., this takes it to another level.

Players can’t play well every week. Croker was fine last week. Our big issue this week was putting our very sound winger to FB ahead of a player who filled in fine there last week. Jack should be dropped for Boyle or Shipley if fit imo. And where was keppie after the first 20 when Marty came in? Seemed like he didn’t come back in.

Jetski has been poor all season. unfit and no impact. Paeska actually did well the last 20mins. We are lacking a lot off the bench.

Sharks also deliberately and blatantly gave away 6 agains on our first tackle, giving plenty of time to set their defensive line and pin us down.

Set after set after set... when does that warrant a penalty or even a sin binning?

My understanding was that the NRL were onto that and refs were instructed not to be coy in awarding the penalty when that happens. Ironically, I saw one awarded but against us.

I am sure Des would have seen the obvious changes he needs to make to get the Manly machine rolling once again

Agree on Jetski has been ordinary and it surprises me that he gets a run over Guacamole who has more upside.

mate he is prone to errors and penalties
he may improve but he has not been good in a lot of games

Croker was still out there when he came on. I'd like to see him start at hooker and Levi on the bench. We looked better with him at dummy half.
