“Wow OK I don’t agree with that,” Ennis said.

“Gee that is a tough call on Sironen. I would have had penalty sufficient.

“No doubt the Manly players would have been frustrated with that decision.

“I thought Adam Elliot leaned in and collected Wade Graham, so penalty sufficient there because Graham then goes on and takes out Sironen, who would have had a clear shot at the ball. I don’t think he did.”

Fans agreed with Ennis after blowing up on twitter.

This is what sums things up .......
On the day sht happens to every one
Greg chappell the Australian captain and one of the greatest batman ever had not one but 7 ducks in his illustrious career
Cassius Clay lost to Fazier when he was Ko'd and got his Jaw broken
One loss does not define the Great Manly team
The Inspirational
Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
Our Comebacks are Greater than our Setbacks !!!

Like the sentiment but a couple of corrections...
Frazier won on points, not KO, and also he didn't break Ali's jaw (Ken Norton did that)
Also his name was Muhammad Ali. He said Clay was his slave name and for that reason I reckon we shouldn't use it!

The team had 80 minutes to contribute, it wasn't just one moment that cost us. That's what we need to look at, because we dont look like league heavyweights right now, and the Sharps sure as hell arent the equivalent of Joe Frazier
80 minutes does not define one season . It does not define our Great character
It was only last win with a depleted team that we were hailed as the greatest win ever
Look at the half glass as you may

Never said it did. But we've seen a lot of dismal starts over the past six weeks, that concerns me. Ultimately our season will be defined by where we finish.

I criticise our performances because I love this club.

Feathered friend You have every right to criticize our un Manly performance last week but never forget the most heroic win ever the week before and have faith in the resilient Manly spirit .

Siro, AFB and Jake put in. The other 14 were deadsh*t awful. Paseka couldn't bust the skin on a rice pudding and the bleach has gotten into Jack's brain and given him a lobotomy. Thommo was thinking about olde blighty next year and where the hell was Keppie after 20 min.

I agree. Mate des made some shocking decisions yesterday. Why did keppie never return? Why did Des take off afB and bring on jetski and not paseka to match fifita? Why did he choose garrick a winger to play fb then elliot a fb to play center and then funa who is a center playing wing:envy::tmi:

Thing is, Elliot was entitled to use his shoulder in a contest for the loose ball. If Graham then falls over it doesn't make it a penalty. So if Mick ennis was advocating manly penalty (for siro being taken out) fair enough but for some reason he was saying cronulla penalty sufficient!

Because you put a "P" in front of his surname. That's what describes him.

No issue with the elliot contact but whilst graham fell it was the arms some hoe flailing into a tackling motion that brought siro down

It was interference. Simple. Doesn't have to be intentional. In fact, most interference calls are the result of a player accidentally causing the problem. The Vidiot takes tries off teams when a fingernail brushes a defender. On this occasion the interference caused a defender to fall and be unable to defuse the kick.
But as I stated way back in the aftermath of the disaster, thank goodness this ridiculous decision didn't affect the outcome of the match. We never looked like being competitive.
It still adds to a long list of mistakes being made weekly by the Vidiot, who was introduced at great expense to the NRL to stop the 'howler'.
Look who's howling now.
