You have your way of dealing with and others have their own way of dealing with it. Some come on here to vent after a bad loss. Who the **** are you to tell people how or what they should post after a really disappointing loss like that.

Deal with it ......
I'm not the guy you're looking for.

Have a great evening 🙂

I hate being right but all week I could see today's performance coming we are just not up to it against good quality top 4 sides when they choose to play at there best.

Dogs next week will destroy us, we will try and play the big power game again but dogs will be ready for it.

They will have there full compliment of players minus Mann and we will have a banged up turbo and no Saab.

They will come out firing and I see no way we win next week.

What a really disappointing way for our season to end.

Thought the first 20 they were on top in the middle and it was obvious to see the only one to make yardage without Tent and Lodge was Guaca.

Alioia, Jake, Brown and Lawton the dynamics didn’t work against a good pack, could have used Bully when they were getting dominated but they stuck with that for 36 minutes, question marks on the Coach here.

Croker well it’s been obvious for weeks that Simpkin should be starting.
Just don’t understand the obsession with Croker. It’s so obvious we need creativity around the ruck and mobility in the forwards. Every team knows you just go set for set with Manly and wait till we tire.

We as a club are in the worst spot possible a team that is at best bottom 8 the people at the club fool themselves (and some supporters) that we are improving when in reality we are standing still.

I would prefer us as a club to come second last (don't want a spoon) than people at the club may face the truth we are no closer to a title than the eels, tigers or dragons and get serious on our coaching and our recruitment but as it stands the "happy clappers" will celebrate a finals appearance.

Our cap is so out of shape but we will never take hard decisions. For starters I'm sorry Jake but you offer nothing that a player on 250k can offer but he is a great guy so we will keep him on 750+?

Garrick should have been told sorry you are a winger or go to the knights. Croker sorry mate we need a first grade hooker.

That's just a start but we need a big roster shake up we have to many underachievers on 5+ year deals which is ridiculous.
We are shaking up the roster. Michael Chee Kam , Jazz Tevanga and Ronald Volkman. We're really going for high quality hey hahahaha.

Our worst performance of t he year. 41 missed tackles. 40 put on us. 1 on 1 misses for tries. Just dreadful. Do they themselves believe they cannot win with out Tom.
Crucial next year to have a defensive centre.
Thought Talau did well on the left edge, and you referring to the right edge?

The Sea Eagles have capitulated with a home final on the line to be thrashed by the Sharks 40-20 at a sold-out Brookvale Oval.

Manly had everything to play for - a sixth-placed finish that would see them return to Brookvale next weekend - but they folded like a deck chair

It means they’ll now face the Bulldogs in their elimination final next Saturday in front of an expected 60,000 fans at Accor Stadium.

Sums up today perfectly sadly

.

I'm not thrilled about Chee Kam but I think Tevaga can do a job. In saying that, I would have liked Manly to look at Kobe Hethrington from the Broncos (who is apparently on the Tigers radar) to provide that smaller, faster, mobile middle forward. Oh well.

Team looks tired should have been rested last 2 weeks . Only change I'll make if turbo not fit is put Hoppa at fullback. Hes our only defensive back. Koula not first grade material yet.

I'm not having a go at anyone but I honestly question if a number of posters on the site really understand RL. It's disappointing to lose, because we're Manly supporters, but I fail to see the big surprise in today's result. We have improved and won some games against some good sides early in the season, before the likes of Melbourne, Roosters, and Penrith really hit their straps, but lots of clubs have those types of wins throughout a season. They mean nothing until you can win when the whips are cracking. Too many of you have read into those early wins...you can see patterns across a season and it should be obvious that we aren't where those teams are.

We turned up today. You could see the effort from the opening whistle. The issue was not effort. It was not a pitiful performance at all, we just got beaten by a really good football side. Surprise?! We are not the best team in this competition and haven't been all season, so why would we start now?!

Cronulla weathered our early storm and got into a groove, where there superior speed troubled us and fatigued us to the point where we leaked tries towards the back end of the game.

Every time we lose, it doesn't have to be what we didn't do...sometimes it's what the opposition did and they are a superior side to us and have been for the last 3-4 years.

Deal with it...
Don’t agree. I was at the game and we DID not turn up. Playing 5 mins of hard footy is not ‘turning up’. And I also don’t agree that the wins we’ve had were irrelevant. We’ve played some great footy this year at times including last week. Our problem is that it’s one week off one week on. No consistency. Yes Cronulla were way too good today. They ran harder, tackled harder and generally did everything way quicker - except for the first 5 mins. Last week we played like that for pretty much the whole game. So that’s why people get on here and vent - because we see potential but we see coaching staff that can’t access that potential consistently. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with how much people do or don’t know about footy.

Jeez how many of you were actually at the game - from my vantage point it appeared half of our defensive issues came from Koula swinging half of the retreating defenders onto the wrong side. His positioning and decision-making were insipid. Half of the line breaks came from an incorrect setting of numbers.

Having watched Turbo and Hopoate from similar vantage points earlier in the year, it's night and day between those two and Koula. Hopoate or Turbo at fullback, we win that game on defence alone. Our other issues stemmed from these.

Why wouldn't you put Humphries on the bench. Can play dummy half and offers skill and another point of attack. Burbo seriously at #14 give me a break. Not the reason we lost but shows the coach isn't willing to try something needed with no Turbo out there.

Everyone has picked that including all commentators.only person who can't see it is our coach Seibold.

All good, you're entitled to your opinion
