I wonder how he’ll use Talau off the bench - apart from covering injuries in the backs? Could he play as another edge forward or sub Jazz at lock?

Seems like Seibs dosent want to rely on Burbo going into the back line for injury cover as usual. Bambie would be lining up against Iro or Ramien who both would have a field day running circles around him.

Nearly there but the Waddell selection is still ridiculous. Having more experience or apparently being able to play more minutes (which also coincides with him coming up with more penalties/errors) shouldn't be a reason for him to be picked over Navale. It's essentially only the 3rd forward spot on the bench that will play roughly 20-25 so why not give that spot to Navale to help bring him up to NRL speed?

Stoked with Simpkin and Jazz deservedly holding their starting spots though. Time for Jake to show he can still offer something in what is hopefully a reduced role.

As @globaleagle suggested, there could yet be a late change.
Meanwhile fyi Waddell played more minutes v Panthers than Bull, Brown or Gordie. I know he's not rated here but I think he can play a role if called upon again.

Hi Seibs, it is clear from this weeks team that you are an avid reader of these pages. I have been one of your biggest supporters on here and continue to wish you every success. Just don’t lose to the sharks.

Seibold smashed it with the changes to the team list, hopefully it works as well as we are hoping. Only change is still make would be Waddell out but it’s not the end of the world, just need a big game from him on Sunday

Hey well done to Seibold. Good selections. Smart move having Jake come back and starting at prop. That is his best and (I think) only position. Jazz absolutely owned that #13 against Penrith so good to see he is rewarded with same position. Same with Simpkin. So good to have Saaby back as he is unquestionably one of the big X factors in the team. And I don't actually mind Waddell on the bench. Apart from a couple of indiscretions I thought he played strong against the Panthers. Manly by +13 at a packed Brookvale.

Nope I think we need Jake's defence up front first 20min. Suffocate the gummies and then hit them with Bullemore, Brown and even Tommy T on for Burbo.
Fair enough. Although we didn't seem to miss Jake against penrith. 14 nil up early. But I get what your saying Jake doesn't really bring any impact of the bench. But I think we'd be better off starting fast and mobile first 20. Jake can grind 20-60 and bully back last 20 for impact
