Seems like a few here have no idea what Seibold will or will not do?
Simpkins starting, Jake to prop, Jazz to lock, a mobile bench including Talau.
Here yo are feathered friend
I hope this helps
Manly Sea Eagles vs Cronulla Sharks at 4 Pines Park, 4:05pm

Sea Eagles team
: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason Saab 3. Tolutau Koula 4. Reuben Garrick 5. Lehi Hopoate 6. Luke Brooks 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Jake Trbojevic 9. Jake Simpkin 10. Siosiua Taukeiaho 11. Haumole Olakau’atu 12. Ben Trbojevic 13. Jazz Tevaga 14. Tommy Talau 15. Corey Waddell 16. Ethan Bullemor 17. Nathan Brown 18. Caleb Navale 19. Clayton Faulalo 20. Jakob Arthur 21. Michael Chee Kam 22. Aitasi James

Analysis: Two big ins for Anthony Seibold after a week enjoying the bye. Jason Saab returns from an ankle injury, with Tommy Talau the man to make way and take up a spot on the pine. Jake Trbojevic also slots back in at lock after a head knock, with Ethan Bullemor reverting to the bench. Caleb Navale has been named in the extended reserves.

You’d have to be blind not to see the change to the team dynamic in the last game.

So many here want to blame the coach , bet he gets little credit for this.
So how long did it take for the coach to realize jake is best at Prop and the 9 belongs to Simpkin ?
Who do we blame for these long and overdue changes ?
Who is this Blind Manly person that failed to see what was best for our team ?

Not the coach because some on here think that Seibold is not accountable for his teams selections or performance
What is he accountable for then ?
The answer seems to be
F... ALL

Still think we need another big body on the bench tho. Ailoi and Lodge hopefully not far away, and Sipley back in rd 13.
I don't think Sipley is up to 1st anymore. The couple games he had were not good. Maybe carrying injury but he seemed gassed after 10min.

I like the change but after thinking about it overnight, what do we like about Jake moving to prop? I know that a positive is that he is no longer playing lock, and Jazz will arguably do a better job, but do we even want him as prop? When we talk about props we want, we talk about aggressive, fast, mobile, young and hungry - Jake is none of these. Why do we think he will perform well at 8?

Young? Why young? Mitch Barnett aint young! Raiders Papalii and Tapine aren't kids...

Yes you definitely want energy, but as I recall Jake is the incumbent SOO prop and I don't recall his performance being criticised (just his small minutes).

If he plays limited minutes (30 odd in SOO, so in NRL should manage 40-50) I can't see why he wouldn't be effective.

We need to complete our sets win field position and tire those big sharks forwards.Turbo and the backs will do the rest.Of course the refs will punish any tackles that make contact with the head so we need to be disciplined in this area and not have players put in the bin. we can win this .

There are many questions around Jake's future that will need to be asked and answered. However there is no doubt in my mind that he can still provide enormous value in defence in that critical first quarter of the game. That's where I think a team establishes or looses it's ascendency for the rest of the game.
