I can't believe the police have stopped the seven players from attending. What do the police think? The crowd is going to riot? By banning the seven it prevents those in the crowd who support their stand from being able to show them them they are still loved and admired.
I am actually not going to the match as I had planned. It is my superficial protest at the owners of our club who caused this chaos. I will watch it on TV and hope we can win against the odds.
I will resume attending Brookie for the remaining home matches, provided there is not another issue that causes division amongst once united Manly players and supporters.

On Tuesday Des said the seven would be in attendance. I assume that would have been with other Manly players near the dressing sheds. Later it was announced they watch from the new gym. However, after Aloiai received death threats on social media, police advised that the seven not attend the match at all. Thus, there will be no focus point for angry nutters to create a security problem. Hopefully, no true Sea Eagles supporters would be abusive to the players, but it's possible all types of individuals (even non NRL supporters) may attend this match with the aim of protesting or disruption.

Unfortunately there are those in society who like to exacerbate issues with this sort of garbage. Fan, non fan, into footy or not. Some people like throwing petrol on a burning house.

Just had a count up of players missing through injury and religious beliefs. Injured 5 Religious beliefs 10 for a whopping total of.. 15. Can't remember a time when we have had so many out or unavailable.

I had a dream...not the MLK kind,I only remember it because I woke up in the middle of it.
I was Kieran Foran and I was sitting down under a tree eating cereal with DCE,(I think it was a porridge type of cereal).
I don't remember anymore because I woke up at that point(thanks for asking but no,there was no smoking involved).
Maybe it is a sign or maybe I just need help(50/50).
For me it is a sign that they will combine together like never before and lead this side to a glorious victory, either that or they will be soon endorsing a porridge product.
they may be in for a gruel-ing match tonight ...the rorters are a team of flakes

Death threats! Wow. I didn't know that.
There is something seriously wrong with some people.

I am accepting of your choice to protest in this way 🌈
Wow I just read about the death threats too surely a nasty harpoon thrown by a rorters fan, thae are clearly rattled ... go hard Manly .... but seriously there are some air wasters out there.

after the ref last week. manlys week and the fact they are now on channel 9 i can see a sympathetic ref early on, with a buoyant crowd

if the refs turn up tonight and snuff manly out early it will be a very sad script
Doubt the ref will be kind to us... Manly has humiliated the NRL and if you thought we were hated before, now the great majority of Australian society are shaking their heads at us. The powers that be would do everything in their power to make sure we slide as far down the ladder as possible. Can you imagine the headlines if we actually won?

I don't dream in black and white anymore either, lol

Getting the win tonight would be the feel-good story of the year. But given the way the rest of the season has gone, it's way more likely - and WAY more on-brand for the NRL - that we start hard, hang in there for a while, but have momentum and/or victory snatched away from us by an inexcusable refereeing error.

Be nice but in reality Teddy and Manu will tear those new wingers a brand new arsehole.

I’m hoping for an effort not a capitulation, which I fear if it’s 28-0 after 30 minutes is what it will become.

Good luck boys , make us proud

Game day whooo cmon boys, manhandle those cocks, bend their line, break through their defensive cracks, don't give them cheap ball or position, then suck in the oxygen and do it all again.

Go you good things
