In the old days, I used to pick 8-8 in the footytab and win a motza. I wonder why its so hard to pick the winners now. go figure 👍

Sat with some pretty astute people in the Shaw & Partners box and had the advantage of looking from directly behind or in front
A common comment by some was that the sideline is our opposition extra defender

It was remarked that for some time Tom starts his run flat and directly behind the 5/8 and gets the ball at speed side ways that eventually gets to Garrick wide with his only option to straighten and take a tackle
We are missing opportunities for Garrick to set our wingers up
To accomodate we have the Tom or DCE use a cut out pass that lately has missed

Look at Riff they are deeper and straight from the beginning of a shift

Snake very rarely got the ball sideways and in Toms 2021 neither did he

Run straight and beat the slide defence and we will convert
Conversations from those much smarter than me and have actually done it
