If we win this will become our MIGOTY and restore belief in players and fans

If we get thrashed, this will be just another low point on our journey to turn it around.

I hope we pull something out of the bag, it would be a memorable win. But 90 times out of 100 we fold and fall away given current form and backline

I don’t under rate them and I don’t understand why others do, I think they have nailed it with, speed and endurance, they all seem to have big motors and are plenty willing, the only question is can they maintain the intensity over 25 rounds and still be going all guns blazing in September? I think they will as I think Cleary senior gets it and will manage his troops at the first sign fatigue and work rate is becoming a negative in their quest for September.

Without knowing the facts they would appear to be playing a little light up front, but there so physically fit and well prepare, I don’t see it as a problem, in fact I think it’s in their favour, what they lack in size is overcome by commitment and working for the bloke next to you, they work their balls off, can’t help but admire them.

Oddly enough, I feel no worse about this game than I did about last week's game. We've been playing so badly that I feel like we're just as likely to win or lose in every game no matter who we're playing. I remember a few years ago (the good old days) when we were in the top handful of sides in the league and we'd be on huge winning streaks and then we'd lose to the Tigers or to the Titans. No reason why we can't snag a W against the Panthers. They had a huge game last week and will most likely be assuming that this will be an easy win.

For clarification, I do think we'll lose by at least 20. For my sanity, I just need to see some sort of improvement. If we get beaten by a ridiculous margin (say 40+), I'd like to see some real action taken - be it players getting dropped or even Des being issued with a notice period to turn results around by.

Either way I will be watching til the end ... it will be my own personal sacrifice ... to suffer, so that in a small way it repays the Sea Eagles for the many years of glorious pleasure they have given me .... but I will be watching with gritted teeth and a curse on my tongue ..

I’m thinking at least 5 tries through Parker hole

parker to drop the ball at least twice

Garrick to get ragdolled and end up with negative hit up metres for the game

DCE to do a spin move at least 10 times

That’s what I do! Feel like it’s a duty.

40+

I think it could very easily be 60+

If they are really “ on” and we play to the same standard of games 1-3 our biggest ever defeat is on the cards.

I think though what might save us is , hard for them to be really “ on” playing a weak side so I’m going 36-10.

Dont.. I can't watch it. It does my head in when he does that. Like he has 5 things in his head at once and has no idea what to do.

It could easily be 60+. I find myself in a very depressing frame of mind now, going into games thinking "how much would I accept losing by". I think for this game, the answer has to be anything less than 20. I've been happy to give Des the benefit of the doubt so far because of all he's done for the club and the fact we've had a tough draw. That being said, I would find another heavy loss very hard to take. And I think then it would be well and truly time to start making changes to this team. I think I'm one **** Taupau offload away from being fine with him coming off the bench.
