Disagree. Defence in the middle was solid, watching the reply of those tries, wow, horrible defence. Rushing in when totally not necessary. Happened 3-4 times all for tries. The other Crocker and Elliot let some soft tries in, slipping over and not moving up.

All from the park footballers. Jorge, Parker, Elliot, Crocker
They played at a much faster tempo than us due to us not holding the middle and not controlling the ruck. This often leads to bad decision making out wide when we are short of numbers. Penrith ran for 600m more than we did. We were completely outplayed all over the park.

I dont think any of us expected to see a loss like that
I had faith in our boys from their previous wins against other top contenders
There were many weaknesses exposed tonight and the positive is that we can work on them and fix them .
Many on here are saying that some of ours players would not make the starting side in other NRL teams and it is a credit to Des for getting them up to play above their weight and have them winning games for us against the top teams .
I think we will learn a lot form this loss and be a better side for it

Sorry Bozo but I did see this coming and the weaknesses you referred to have been obvious for weeks. We were deceived by the Eels match That was a special effort by the halves and the forwards. But this side lacks punch in the backline. It stands out like a beacon and has been obvious since Turbo was injured. I respect your loyalty, but Des has to get his head out of the sand and take some risks. He's much better than this.

Why does Suli seem to escape criticism ?
For a bloke his size its a case of looks like Tarzan plays like Jane....slow as fark...when did he last make a break ?

Tafua...time is up
Parker...gutsy ...but seriously wouldnt be mentioned as a threat by any oposition side.

Back rowers. ...no pace.

Cant win without Tommy.

Walker needs to play centre. ..Cust 5/8

We have a fullback who seems to miss abt 10 weeks per year.
Our only decent centre playing 5/8.
No decent centres.
One winger in Garrick.
Half back who seems unable to organise cause he hasnt got anyone to pass to cause they aren't threats in attack.
We have a lock in Jurbo.
Our second rowers are over the hill.
Our starting props go good.

We need new centes and second rowers, and a new winger before we can even stsrt to think we are a top 8 side.

No point trying to bash sides every week cause it can't be sustained.

The effort is there most of the time, but we are about half a dozen players short of even dreaming to win a comp.

We have also seen great resilient wins from the same players against the Roosters and the Raiders and that is why I had faith in the boys . I do agree that a little tune up by Des wont go astray

I won't say much but this.

We have played worse and loss by less.
I didn't think this was a wrist slitting performance by any stretch.
We played a white hot side that don't really have a weakness in any position.
And until absolute exhaustion set in, we were hanging in there even if we weren't on the scoreboard.

Move on to next week. The team list will make for interesting reading.

Des Press conference ...

Our record with him hasn’t been so great either. He’s an honest toiler but like our other 2nd rower offers little or no impact.
Well, he does offer mythical status accompanied by a real history of injuries. Bring on the magical unicorn I say :)

Sorry, Bozo but we had Turbo and Walker in the Roosters match and Turbo for half the match against the Raiders. Turbo scored one of the tries in the Raiders game and set up the second. Manly had to defend out of their skins in the second half when Turbo went off, to protect their lead, because they didn't score another try. No mate, they've been reliant on Turbo and hoping the forwards and DCE could cover for their backline deficiencies.. Its now dreadfully obvious.

What's the point of a resilient or stirring win once or twice every couple of months if we are not going to develop any consistency? I have yet to see any team win the comp with that sort of approach. I don't want to be Parra.

Hopefully Guacamole gets a chance in the back row on the left edge.

I think he is a better talent than Katoa who plays left edge for the warriors.

We had Turbo out for long periods with his hamstring issues last season as well as Walker suspended and other key players out and the same players made the top 8
The season is not over and I have not given up on our players yet

The point is what we are capable of

Did you even watch the game mate
Can you point out one real run, offload or assist or in fact anything he did that would warrant picking him.
I have the game recorded. Just put the time and i’ll Take another look...
waiting...

Actually, I disagree. I saw a game once this year that showed me what the Titans are capable of. I certainly don't want to be the Titans. Teams are full of potential and capabilities. Potential means $hit if there is not consistent application and execution to support it.

The Titans came last last year and we made the 8
We are not the Titans and the season is not over yet
