Made two try saving tackles. He was better than most.
He was outstanding. Everywhere in defence, set up both tries, 40_20. Team around him let him down. The defence was horrible. Ball watching out wide. Jorge flying in off his winger and missing everything then scoring off it.

Elliot and Crocker, very poor. Siro playing injured

Can Ennis just shut up.

The good news is that Cust will be there next week and surely he will not be dropped again for Dylan Crocker, I mean Walker.

Hate to say this but I suspected this would happen, and I've suspected it would in three of the four previous games, The Parramatta game surprised me. But look I am no expert, but if I could see this coming, why didn't Des and why hasn't he done something effective about that backline. Fair dinkum I have the greatest respect for what Des did for Manly between 2004-11 and that he led Manly out of the mire last year. But I get a sense that he is running scared about retaining his reputation and is playing it super conservative. This was not the Des of those earlier years. Its like the reputation he rightly earned, is weighing too heavy on his shoulders and he's playing safe, hoping to hold on to the kudos.

Again I'm no expert, but I think we can all see something is wrong. To rely so heavily on one player is just going no where. He has a couple of players sitting idly on the sidelines who just may help to turn things around. Maybe they wont, but its worth the risk with Manly's slide. Saying I'm not going to rush them speaks of fear to me. They are ready. Play them for goodness sake, otherwise this season will be compared to Barrett's last effort.

I wish we could banish Croker, Elliot, Parker, Tafua, Levi, Thompson from the team and replace them.
We don’t know how our depth is beyond that coz they arnt given a chance, but the above guys just don’t cut it,

this isn’t a knee jerk, I’ve been saying if for years.

there are Others who are honest toilers, but there is limited scope in the team that keeps getting trotted out.

if the season is gone, give the rest of the squad a crack, they must feel so disheartened seeing that tripe and knowing no one will get dropped.

des is gonna bulldog is if he doesn’t mix it up. Our style of play and tempo is insipid

Hopefully Parker Walker and Sironen are out for a while so Des would have little choice than to bring in some young guys. Having said that he will put Waddell or JetSki in the centres

Absolutely schooled.

not a single positive out of the game.

we are slow, clunky, lazy and inept in attack. We don’t even get the fundamentals right.

Mee need change. Too many players coasting and we look poorly coached.

even the character I thought we had deserted us tonight.
Yeah, they were great, but we let them be great too, and didn’t fire a shot in response.
Untrue, I'm positive we won't win this year

SET RESTARTS

1st Half:

Manly: 1
Penrith: 4

2nd Half:

Manly: 1
Penrith: 2

GAME TOTAL:

Manly: 2
Penrith: 6

Levi missed 9 tackles tonight.

The rest of the forwards (including the bench but not Waddell as he played mostly centre) missed.....7 between them.

I'm so happy I had to work and missed the game. I opened the first link into a game report and read, Walker injured foot, Parker concussion and Sirro out injured again. I laughed... some things in life are inevitable. Pity Tommy wasn't playing as I could have bet on the quadfecta
