Only one game but would have to be of some interest how Humphries went for Blacktown yesterday
Can "t imagine Siebs going for the Talau at 6 option again . Doubt if Bunting is ready yet .
Would anticipate Brown starting at 13 but is probably going to need a break at some stage and not sure who could manage that role for whatever time , maybe Lawton , possibly Navale , then there is always Alioai if Tent is available again.
Schoupp likely for the bench but no idea how he may have gone yesterday also .
Some fairly important selection considerations for sure

If Waddell's out I'd put Navale on the bench, really liked what I saw from him in the Souths game.

I think this is probably a good bet on being the team:

1. Hoppa
2. Saab
3. Talau
4. Garrick
5. Paulo / Vaega
6. Turbo
7. Brooks
8. Sipley / Paseka if back
9. Simpkin
10. Aloiai
11. Olakau'atu
12. Lawton
13. Brown
14. GCKT / Croker if back
15. Navale
16. Bullemor
17. James / Sipley

Predicted lineup from Knights forum, their pack is full strength but they only have 1 regular first grader in their back 5.
1. Sharpe
2. Jenkins
3. Lucas
4. Mapapalangi
5. Marzhew
6. Pryce
7. Hastings
8. Saifiti
9. Crossland
10. Thompson
11. Frizell
12. KPP
13. Elliott / Croker

14. Brailey
15. Saifiti
16. Hetherington / Bryan
17. Croker / Jones

Good team. But reckon if croker is back he plays 6. I can’t see Tom playing 6 with his current fitness or headspace.

1. Hoppa
2. Saab
3. Turbo (Seibold won't move him after just one game)
4. Garrick
5. Vaega
6. Talau (Seibold showed his hand against Souths)
7. Brooks
8. Sipley (Paseka won't be back for a few weeks)
9. Simpkin
10. Aloiai
11. Olakau'atu
12. Lawton
13. Brown
14. Croker (I hope he is back, as he'll add some startch to the defence)
15. Navale
16. Bullemor
17. Waddel (I think he'll be back - if not, I'd really like to see Parker given a run)

We will absolutely terrorise them in the backs, with Ponga, Best and Gagai missing, however, the Knights do have a few exciting youngsters as replacements.

If our forwards can match the Knights intensity and control or at least be on even terms in the middle, which is going to be difficult, We could run away with it, however, if we don't compete in the middle, it could be embarassing.

Hi @The Wheel, I haven't been around much, not that anyone missed me 🤣 anyway looking forward to Sunday, flying in from WA with daughter, 4 year old grandson and 8mth granddaughter for their first Manly Home Game live.
So excited.
Do you know if the player greet at the leagues club will allow the kids ?

Thanks for any advice

6, 7, 7, 6.

Whoever comes in, in the halves will play right side with Brooks staying left

Yes they do, bring a pen and phone/camera for the pics 🦅😀

Yeah Croker in the halves if he has recovered. Has a half decent kicking game as well. Otherwise I think they will go with Lawton again.

This match could define our season.

One ounce of "under estimating the opposition" will see us soundly beaten here, they have enough guile in the halves (Hastings is hot and cold but will fire vs Manly) and a real tough pack to test most teams.

We will miss DCE and Jake more than they will miss Ponga, Best and Gagai.

Frankly I think we will really struggle to get the W here.

Origin selections (and, in Haumole's case, the lack of selection) could not have been kinder to us. We're at home, and we can't keep following up wins with losses. We absolutely need to win this game.
Noughts looking very vulnerable in the backs. No Ponga or centres Best and Gaiguy, also, Tom will be better for the run, not to mention Ola, he'll be fired up for a big one I'd say.

Our backs look every bit as ordinary to me, Tom and Garrick need improve. Saab and Brooks are average unless other are playing well around them, and we don't even have a 7.
