Hoping Tent is back for this one, need him in the middle yo bend the line..

Lawton and maybe Waddell on the edges..

I havent seen much of humphreys at 7. What type of half is he? Would he fit better as a replacement for DCE or a (like brooks) partner?

If it's the latter, would he be better in a 6 role than talau?

Who would be best to play the dce role? Arthur could but he isn't available. Do we have anyone available who would be better for that than brooks? Croker hasn't been playing anywhere? Bunting?

The dream scenario is Paseka and Croker back with Croker to cover halves.

Turbo not picked for Origin and available.

Ponga, Best and Gagai picked for Origin.

I forgot about gay guy. That would even things up if both their centres were out. 🤞

Backrow and halves the biggest worry.

I hope we pick a genuine half this time, Jamie or Tyler.

In terms of the backrow, Lawton should play on an edge with Waddell or Bully on the other. (This really shows our lack of second row depth)

Fingers crossed origin selections go our way - Gagai, Ponga, Best all selected. Turbo not selected.

Not sure we could pick Tyler if Jamie is available.

It has to be Humphreys next week. All round half who can take over the kicking duties. The Souths game was a different proposition. But Knights at Brookie is a great opportunity for a debut. As you say, Arthur is out, Bunting still getting used to NSW Cup. If we are serious about winning, Humphreys will get his shot.

I reckon Waddell (if fit) takes Ola'akautu's spot, Lawton starts for Burbo, and I would bring in Schoupp to take Lawton's bench spot.

Humphreys for DCE, Brown starts for Jake, leaving one spot left for another middle: Paseka? Maybe Croker as a 13 type? Possibly Navale again? But I reckon Seibold goes with Condon

I would have thought JH is more a 7 than 6. He is more an organising type than an amazing runner of the ball.

Yes, Bedman Brast has been named in the Old North England team.

Haumole out.

‘Smelly’ Ponga and the Gay Guy to be named for Queersland.

Things are looking up for Sunday’s game.
