Even given it was a tight game and he wanted Lussick out there, if you don't trust the blokes on the bench, get 4 blokes you do trust.

Lets make some changes and bring in Knight and Hopoate. Love Buhrer however he always struggle whenever we play a physical team dominated by big units like Parra have.Could he play hooker ?

Second time we have lost to the eels with the season on the line in as many years. Not happy!

last night proved how far we need to go. If we couldn't beat that shower, not sure how we'd go with what is still in front of us so top 8 was always a fantasy.
this will hopefully put an end to all the management spin and bs of how great it was going to be without Toovey. DCE needs a five eighth to partner up with. Utility players shouldn't be all over the park.
This one out, flat line play is so boring to watch. The only variation seems to be cutting one or two players out when it comes out across through the backs. Tom T needs to run some angles like snake and he will carve teams up as he is so quick and strong. Lacks a bit of confidence at the moment is how it looks but that will come with experience.
A 5/8 and a leader on the field is what we need for next season ... other clubs seem to find them.

Taking the piss? Your zealous like support of Manly only lasted for what? Two losses?
Though Ferris had a shocker last night he has been in great form but I think would be a great asset off the bench as a utility and that would take Leary out of the picture although I think Baz has already done that by his limited game time. Can't see the point of picking him at all.

Had to refrain from posting last night, was not in a good place.
So many aspects about the game were just terrible.
1. Like many have said, Chez was bloody marked out of the game. He was shut down and our forwards did not create space for him. So our attack suffered big time and it did not help that the worms were consistently off side.
2. Did we have a game plan last night? It really did not look like we did.
3. We have far too many players in at the moment, that would simply not get a look in at first grade at many other clubs.
4. With three minutes to go with our season on the line pretty much Checcin's decision to award a penalty needs to be investigated. Seriously talk about game integrity blah, blah, that was absolutely ridiculous.
5. The PR mouth piece coming out of the franchise again was sprouting good news and spin all week. Manly are confident, the boys are feeling good etc. I felt like I have been taken for a ride by a dodgey salesman selling me the elixir of life and then when I actually got home after paying for it and looking at the bottle the ingredient's show it is just water. And then feeling completely deflated and ripped off.
2. Barrett, Bozo and Penn have completely lost me now and need to do something very special to ever try and get me back. Penn and Barrett should be ****ing ashamed of themselves after this years and last night's effort. I have no confidence in the coach either or how our recruitment went this year. Quite simply we have a number of passengers in the team and on our coaching staff.
6. The worms and BA are cheating ****ing assholes and they did not deserve that last night. And the amount of cats lying down feigning hurt in that **** hole team was disgusting.
7. The NRL is ****ing corrupt and favours are giving to certain teams to give them a leg up.

Are you suggesting Barrett is a super coach and is the man to lead us to another grand final ?
This game was there to be won . Manly had more to play for but it was clear to see which coach had his boys more pumped up for the win .
Great coaches rise and triumph in adversity and average coaches like Barrett sink behind their excuses

I suspect Barrett also told Ferris to drop the ball 3 times. It was point 3 on his game plan.

A well coached team over comes adversity from dropped balls , injured players , inner club turmoil etc and that is why Arthur's team won and Barrett's team lost
You may think that Barret is a great coach but from what I have witnessed he is an average coach who does not have the foresight to take us to another premiership win .
