If that is the case I would rather have the young and eager Cullen who can cover for the halves and at Hooker . Brown to me has proven to be a liability . He is the weakest link .

Cullen and Brown have not covered the fullback position beforeCan Cullen cover the fullback position
Manly Sea eagles for me comes first and not my ego and I would be more than happy to eat humble pie and see Brown make a great contribution to our team. From what I have seen of Brown since he wore our maroon and white he has been absolutely as useless as tits on a bullPersonally, I hope Lewis wins Manly players' player this year, just to rub your nose in it. Banter and heckling is one thing, but your constant belittling of a player does not do you much credit, @BOZO!
He's only played one year for us!Not the ones that compete for the title each year

There is always the opportunity to see the replay of the Manly Victory on SundayGutted I will miss the first game - I will be on a plane to Melbourne....could not be worse
Nothing personal intended Woodsie . I was just expressing my views .m8, we all love your passion, but surely you can say you don't think he is good enough without the barrage of personal abuse. Remember, he is also one of your feathered friends.
That is a very grassy knoll. The view that awaits 'the faithful' on the trip to...Lottoland!

Many Manly thanks for the fine upstanding gentleman who emailed me the pic. I have posted it here without asking (I'm so gangsta like that.)
I still have no idea why the beer is warm and the pies cold. Surely it is not like that for all the brookie games?
I hope this year he can make a contribution and I will be the first to congratulate himHe's only played one year for us!
Experience without Impact amounts to nothing and unless Brown shows some form this season as you say Freagle the eager and talented young ones will get their opportunityI would not be surprised if he is there now because we could use an older head with plenty of experience to start the season off. Cullen and Hastings would be the players earmarked for the spot within a few weeks perhaps.
Its a shame really that we only get mr Brown at the end of his career. He was a very good mobile backrower back in the day, and quite a few times I watched him playing for the Warriors or Panthers, I wished he was running alongside Watmough and Stewart (in what would have been the smallest and most mobile backrow in history, come to think of it). But we get him now, when his speed is diminished...and yes we frequently played him out of position.I do think he'll go better this year, but I also feel that he will be surpassed by the young guns struggling to work their way onto our bench.
Yeah can't be that hard take the beers out of the oven and the pies out of the freezer! The view that awaits 'the faithful' on the trip to...Lottoland!
