We haven’t been really tested over the past few weeks Specially in defence.

hope I am wrong but josh not starting and dce at 7 doesn’t bring me much confidence

i have really like josh at 6 Foran at 7 over the past few weeks.

I still think we'd be better having Jake move to prop with Schuster playing lock where he can be an extra 5/8 on either side of the field.

My only concern would be Shoe's ability to handle the extra defensive workload in the middle. I think that might be why Des has left Jake at lock because it would be tempting for him knowing that Shoe could prove every bit as good as Gifty was back in the day.

Don't get me wrong, we clearly have depth, so I'm not complaining - but you need that kid on the field at all costs !!

Anyways, Des knows way better than this old numpty haha.

I was at soo 1 right on the 10 m line and had a great view of dce defence.it was a complete difference to how he has been playing with us and needs to bring it tonight

If he makes the tackle, great. But more often than not he rushes up, gets no one and creates an overlap or inside hole that we rarely overcome. Its almost like he doesn't trust those outside him to do the job defensively. But as Cronk just said, we've leaked 29 tries on that right side this year so clearly something isn't working.

When he stayed in the line for Qld his defence was so much better.

Looks like Reuben Cotter has picked up a hamstring injury in the warmup.

And his replacement is probably going to be former Manly boy Brendan Elliot.

This is the big test . . . . .Can we beat a top 4 side ? If we can do this, even if its just by 1 point, a DCE special, it'll show we're back in this comp, that we are a serious team, on the way up.
