Actually might be quite a warm day! Won't matter, better the weather, the bigger the hostile Manly crowd.

Dry track, home game, plenty of speed in our lineup.

If our completions are high and we bring a bit of monster with our game we can post a handsome win tonight and cement ourselves as a top 8 team once again.

Harper has been pretty good the last couple of weeks with a couple of tough performances so if he keeps up his good form we might see some more cohesion in our attack.

Would love to see a comfortable win but I think it will be fairly close for the most part. Manly 26 - Cowboys 18

Plenty of speed in both lineups, they've got the Hammer, Valentine and Drinkwater who are all swift.
Not sure how many times Peta Hiku has been back to Brookie as an opponent, but I'm happy to see him going well in a decent team, always rated the guy as a genuine footy player. Just don't go too well tonight please

Yes, I expect that to hold right up till the Cowboys score their first try. The facade will be ripped away and it’ll be business as usual on the game day thread. Have to say, its game day, and I haven’t read a Des is a shiit coach, or why’s Harper not playing for Blacktown thread yet?
……still kick-off isn’t for another 6 hours. The lead balloon brigade still have plenty of time to sink us.
I’ll put my Captain Obvious hat on here. (fitted). This is a must win game. We lose this and lose touch with the top 8. Win it, and if the chooks go down, we will be in 8th spot.
I think we can do it. At Brookie, which, even though it’s a 6pm kick-off, I’m hoping plenty of supporters pull a sickie/or a half day Friday to pack the joint out.
I’m expecting our Tongan rep players to be on a natural high after their selection.
‘Apart from Luki the Cows are full-strength.
This game is the proverbial fork in the road.
So much rides on this game if we are to become the real deal.
