Cherry moving on has to be the start of something, but he shouldn't be the only domino to fall. Our forwards are largely useless, we still don't have a hooker, or more than two players capable of playing in the back row, etc, etc, etc.

That was just woeful. We've scored eight points in two weeks. We can play okay for 25 to 30 minutes, but once we fall behind our heads immediately drop, and everybody on both sides of the field knows it's game over. For a side with everything to play for to look that lethargic, that disinterested, is flat-out unacceptable.

The truly depressing part is that we don't really have enough talent waiting in the wings to make wholesale changes. And while it'll be good to have Fogarty in the side next season (a change being as good as a holiday), unless we magically find a decent forward pack and/or some backbone, we're going to be also-rans for years to come.

Well that was rough. Shoutout to all of the fans that went and sat through the rain, team certainly didn’t make it worth it for us.

Was the completion rate like 5% or something in the second half? A lot of side to side play in these conditions was weird, especially when it wasn’t working the vast majority of times. A lot of the errors funnily enough didn’t really come from the side to side plays though.

Probably the most I’ve just wanted to leave a game early, never will do that, but was seriously nothing to be excited about. As is the case with a lot of our games this year. Haven’t been able to be excited about this team at all post Round 2 outside of that Melbourne game, which was then lost the week after. We’re just quite boring to watch as well, different to recent years where we’ve been quite a fun team.

Anyway, that’s likely our season done. 5 more exhibition games left of yet another wasted season folks, let’s try to enjoy them. I’m looking at 2026 more than what we’ve got left of this year though, not that it’ll be much different either 🤷‍♂️

There are very few professional sportsmen these days that truly care about the club or team they play for. Turbos are the exception. And even then I think Jake cares far more than the other two.
