Must of similar age ralphie, I was raised at nth narra and spent many a night watching bands at the antler in the 80s..

Yep, Dave Booth went to school with my brother. His old man "Chookie Booth" was an occasional coach at the Narrabeen Sharks. Boy he was a tough b@stard.

Don't think so shoe, as far as I'm aware the entire family went to nth narrabeen from when it was segregated.

Correct, the Booths lived about 4 doors up from us just near Nth Narrabeen High. They went only to Narrabeen High, well before it became a sports high school.

Yep, mine too. Years 8 and 9 for me was Narrabeen Boys High and then Cromer High opened.

NBH was tongue in cheek called Narrabeen academy of fine young gentlemen. Was known as one of the toughest/worst in Sydney. The girls school next door was no better... possibly worse.

Spent many a night at the Narrabeen Antler watching GREAT Aussie bands in the '80's.
