One of the things I wanted to get out of season 2017 (given that I didn't really think we could win the competition) was to beat the Eels and beat the Dogs...we've already lost to the Eels so i'll be majorly pissed off on Saturday night if we lose this game!!!

I can't for the life of me figure out how Brown keeps his place in this team. I mean, Billy Bainbridge and Shaun Lane each provided more impact in one game than Brown has in his 27 straight games since he's been at Manly.

Amazing how such players like Lewis never sustain an injury.
Not in warm up or at training.
Not even at home.

Jake is by far the better player.

Jake is a much better defender. He does soo much defence it hurts his attacking game. Just saying what I think baz Will do.

In 2017 , with our squad, he is good back-up from reggies and nothing more.

After witnessing that win last week, I can't help but think the doggies will have their tail between their legs this weekend.I am gaining confidence in this side slowly and if we play well this game,then I think we are on our way to a confident recovery. I hope we can hang on to that Manly spirit and defend well.

Surely he's taking the p1ss, seriously! Now that he has AFB and Marty both back, he can't seriously be contemplating two utilities on the bench against the Dogs. I can't see him doing it, he will drop one. Unfortunately it most likely will be the wrong player though.
