Too many injuries in match where we had already fielded an injury ravaged squad.

I wish they had played Cust instead of Sironen though. That was winnable.

Another brave and gutsy effort by the guys tonight. Never in the game after about 30 minutes, too many casualties ensured that. The Donkeys were adequate but far from brilliant.

I really live for the day when we are not forced to take games away to make a quid especially when it benefits a fat cat like Brisbane.

Dylan being available is timely especially after Suli's injury, our depth is really tested now as we really lacked punch up front. Very good spirit in the side and they tried really hard tonight.

Well Nikorima is a Warrior, Roberts has spent more time at Redfern the last fortnight than in Brisbane and yep they can have McCullough.

With the exception of McCullouch they are at full strength.

18-0 and they were gone. About 10 forward passes and not 1 pulled up. Finished the game with 9 of our top 17 injured or suspended. Hardly a surprising result but a brave effort from 60% Blacktown.

Definitely a mistake. Sironen was ineffective at 5/8.

The donkeys are crap. We were unlucky with injuries and played considerably well under the circumstances. Felt for our boys as they never lacked the effort and tried until the end.

I normally hate a loss, but I’ll cop this one. 5 out + Walker don’t forget and then losing players during the game. Pretty bloody decent effort. No injuries, we win that game. Rather than being downcast, I’m even more optimistic about the rest of the season. Heroic effort boys. Great to have our MANLY back.
