I thought DCE was pants to be honest. Really poor kicking game and poor last options.
But you all watched a different game...

im with you Jerry. His distance in his kicks are shiite. The best kick of the night belonged to Croker, out of dummy half, and booted it deep into the corner, and magically found the grass first, instead of straight to the player. I’d be persisting with that tactic more, instead of the DCE & Walker headless chook show.

yes canberra are a challenge but we were coming off a 5 day turn around.

the 10 day break now will come at a perfect time for us.

The biggest problem I saw was the decision making in attack was poor, that's not a turnaround issue

Walker at 5/8 - if he plays the ball within 2 or 3 seconds of receiving it, it's usually creative.

If he holds onto it longer than that he ends up running backwards & forwards behind the ruck.

It's almost as if when he starts consciously thinking about what he's going to do, he gets a mental blank, whereas spontaneous, off-the-cuff stuff works for him.

Yeah I said this early. Look that kid Coates i.is as tall as Tom and is handy. He won’t lose that spot from now. He would have made a lot of rookies look like that. Plus the only attacking option Broncs had was to funa on the bomb. All things considered after all this kicks one try and a tap back wasn’t that bad. He was rubbish and cost us taupua early and an early try. He is the worst half in the comp atm.. even the panthers rookie is better.. walker has outplayed him 3 weeks in a row

A great half knows when up against a team of fragile kids who got smashed to nil last week. They can literally win this game in the first 5 minutes if patient. Enough headless chook. Another "myth" like game from him.. he also had a call from tom for a chip kick but nope he kicks down field and that set marty get injured. Guy really cant read the game Any more, with the players at his disposal he is shocking! He has no combinations with hos forwards its weird. Jetski will give him a good hole runner he needs to start Waddell isn't a starter for mine. Jake kicking dead was same thing that happened last week with siro and tommy.. where was the halfback?

Isn’t it hypocritical to whinge like stuck pigs when we are on the wrong end of a bad call but shrug the shoulders when the calls go our way?
I said this last week, I bet there will be no complaints ir stupid demands of results being overturned if we got the rib of the green this week and won a fight ind
But I guarZntee this, next week if manly get some calls go against them in Rd 6 the same fools will be calling it an NRL conspiracy or the game is fixed or blah blah blah, honestly no wonder manly fans have the reputation they have when sone can be so hypocritical in the space of 8 days I just find it staggering tbh

Not me the ref gave us the game. This competition is diabolical and shameless... im not even happy we won. I'd rather we won last week and lost this 1 fairly

It raises a good point. If the NRL was so deadset on backing their faves, why did the refs drag us over the line tonight. I’ve never been comfortable with the incessant ref bashing as an excuse for losses. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve lost my **** over calls, and I think refs have been crap for a while (but not exclusively against us, but in general), but we need to get over blaming officialdom for poor games. Win some, lose some, and just hope it ends up 50/50 over time.
