Game Day: Manly v Broncos [Round 10, 2016]

Yeah Mark, my interest levels in NRL and Manly are at an all time low, after the way Tooves was treated last year.

Would be bearable if we were in a better place. But with a much stronger roster, we are basically in the same spot - only there was not one game under Toovey I thought we were a definite loss.

This is the first time in maybe 10 years the last two games I'm giving the 2 points to the opposition (and we may very well be "brave").

As I've said a few times, boy was I wrong about Tooves. He certainly maintained the ruthless culture - which we have lost now - we've become soft.

Lots of excuses being thrown around , and to be fair some of them have merit ( the Boys for example have virtually ran out the same side for 10 rounds now) but the one excuse not many mention is that we simply are no longer good enough.

That , I'm sure ( rather I hope) will change but as I've said ( and been shot down for saying it) it's year 1 of a 5 year plan , so we need some patience.

That just means you're a bad tipper. There were stacks of games last year I knew Manly would lose, and they inevitably did.

Tom is all good and will slot in at fullback.
Walker will move to the centres to accomodate the loss of Matai.
Godinet or If Koroisau is good to go either of those 2 will be 5/8.

kinda funny to sack a coach for poor results & then hire someone who has never done the gig before...

Surely if it was a results driven business you'd hire someone qualified for the job.... But no, they want someone they can bully & control completely.

I've noticed a lot of the Broncos players seem to wear footy shorts and bike pants and who knows how many underpants when they're out on the field. We should show our disdain for these underpant wearing sissies by going sans underpants.
