Looking back over the last decade , except 2020 covid of course , 8 losses is the most you can have for a top 4 finish. So we'll have to win all 5 to get into top 4 which I doubt we can with 3 away games. Dogs and Raiders away will both be very difficult.

5th or 6th home final week one is our target now

Since last year we now have 2 extra games thanks to Dolphins.

Changes the norm over last 10 years.

The 2023 season (24 games plus 3 byes) teams needed 32 points to get into the Top 8.

In effect Manly need to win 3 of remaining 5 games to get to 33 points.

We will win 2 we should win, lose one against an opponent we should not and 2 games will be 50/50 games which will determine our season

I know I sound confident from my posts but I do know we haven't made it yet and are no certainty to do so

• Souths and Cows were in the Top 8 on 26 points & won 2 more games, missing the Top 8.
• Roosters were 14th (equal 12th) on 22 points & won 5 in a row to finish in the Top 8.

Just cause it was 32 last year doesnt mean it will necessarily be this year.

2 wins will likely do it, that takes us to 31.

That would mean the Dolphins or Raiders would need to win 4 of 5 to get to 32.

Raiders have Panthers and Roosters and us. Dolphins slightly easier but still have Storm.

No guarantee but we are in the box seat.

Given the troops we have coming back, winning all 5 is definitely possible. But luck would have to be on our side and the team needs to play at least as well as they did in the early season games against the Storm and Panthers

yep, should be getting a whole lot back soon, Raiders game, Ola, Croker and a good chance on Lehi, week after, Lodge, should we need him and Koula the following week if all stay on schedule.
