I'm here on the Northern Beaches at the moment visiting the relations, and saw a big dude on a motorbike at Manly wharf resplendent in a Pioneer jersey. I gave him the thumbs up and he gave me the thumbs up and a smile in return, thought it was a good omen for the coming season. Lots of people were looking at this guy, he ooked so iconic.

I recall those mostly-white away strips being used for at least a couple of seasons…Still train spotting for Manly wearing mostly white coloured playing kit. Surprised in the end how many times.
