Yep, and I also think the lines of command from the coaches to players will much more clear and concise.
If it happens, I can't wait to see the interactions in the box coz my seat is within ear shot. I can't say I'm a Hales fan so having a stronger presence in some of the younger ears would be a good thing.

Since 1947 Manly people have come and gone

Players coaches and officials come and Go

But the spirit of the club will always remain because Loyal Manly people always remain though the tough times and Good times

The moral of the story
No one is bigger than our Legendary club and True Manly people never walk out of their club
I love Dessie but his team selections have put him in firing line. Picking Parker and Harper all the time and Keppie all plodders and Croker while honest will never be an elite 9.
Kaeo weekes debut had him in cotton wool all season and he honestly looked as good if not better than Garrick.

It is not all about what is good for Des's Ego but what is best for the club
Two good heads are better than one
No, I'm not suggesting Des should be accommodated, I'm more concerned about it adding more tension. We can do without that.

As far as I am concerned as a Passionate and loyal Manly club member

I believe it is an honour to be part of Manly and given the opportunity to do your best and get the best of our team

Who ever puts this passion and commitment The Manly passion and Commitment above anything else can leave the club

and fair enough too.

Both Scott Penn and Crowe have one premiership win under their ownership
Come on Bozo....Penn really owned the whole joint since 2015.... and I'll take Souffs run over the last 8 years of Penn

The Penn Family announced today that they had agreed to terms with the Quantum Group to buy their stake in the Sea Eagles effective immediately.

Scott Penn said:

"We want to thank The Quantum Group for their contribution to the Sea Eagles over the past three years and their major sponsorship prior to that."

"We acknowledge that the past couple of years off the field have been difficult, however we are committed to ensuring the Sea Eagles are a world‐class organisation under consolidated ownership.

"There are a number of exciting initiatives which we will be announcing over the coming weeks to ensure our members are as excited as we are about 2015."

Des will always be one of my favourite Manly Legends and at his peak he achieved greatness in all aspects of the game

In life we all peak we all begin to decline and sadly we have seen Des sacked from his declining time at the dogs and also this declining season of ours

I just wished Des would back him self if he still believes in him self and just accept the great honour of coaching Manly in his final contacted season and prove him self by getting the Manly team up again

This story about Seibold being brought in to replace Des may well be true but like most reporting on the club these days is just speculation which gets peoples attention. Take it with a pinch of salt or half glass of your fav spirit….
All of Dessies contract negotiations are messy and painful it was the same when he was at the dogs. The tight arse stories are 100% true

He was part owner and so he did own the joint feathered friend

Des and Penn are both the problem.

Des was a great coach but the game has moved on past him or he has lost the motivation. I haven't seen him blow up when the players aren't preforming, like the day he ripped a door off the hinges at Parramatta.

Penn isn't the owner we need, he is trying to run on a budget, he is a small fish in a big pond.
He won't compete with the Uncle Nicks who have passion and the $$$ to get results. It seems its a case look at me I own a footy team.
If he tried to keep Des after our last premiership instead of putting stupid KPI's or paying a coach peanuts none of this would have happened.

Now he is chasing budget coaches which won't fix anything. Uncle Nick wouldn't be looking at any of these blokes if Trent decided to retire.

I feel sorry for people like Arko, built the club into a powerhouse to watch ego's get in the way and destroy everything.

I agree he will always be a legend. He picked kids in snake, gifty choc and Jason King even Matty ballin was cut by broncos he needs to get back to that

Coaching Gig available at Manly and an opportunity of a life time

Mate ... I like your stuff ... but seriously ... What in the name of sweet Olive Oil's long legs do you see in Siebold ...

Perhaps the way he walked out on Manly .. saying Bozo wouldn't listen to him ..
The way he white-anted Maguire at Souths ..
The way he walked out on Souths to go to his dream job at Bronco's ..
Maybe the way he took player - coach relationships to the sewer at Broncos and made them a disaster site ..
OR ,, the outstanding job he has done at Newcastle as the "assistant" and coach whisperer ...

Lordy lordy lordy ... please keep the egotistical potatohead as far from Manly as possible ..

Well, well, well.

Not having a go at you @Woodsie but this was in the wind months and months ago when I said "my money is on him", I also said he wouldn't be my choice".

A

And one has a team with 50,000 members and a top 4 contender every year.
And if all Manly people were more proud and passionate and less stingy we would have 50000 members as well

But I agree with you we need to excel on the playing field

Well, well, well.

I repeat.
