Can't see us affording 2 assistants Bozo, Monas is on a 100k, well, maybe Chads on that as well.Toovey also ran the water and messages on the field when he was the assistant to Des .
Monas would be the other assistant perhaps

It’s a money savings exercise for Mr Fluffy , Chad leaving saves him $150k.
No great loss as our coach wouldn’t listen to him anyway.
It’s a one man show out Brookvale way so we in fact don’t need any assistants.

Ok fine I'll do it...There is a certain person in these forums who would be the perfect assistant coach, just ask him…
Well he isn't considering location, location, location at this point .I would bet a lot of money chad will be paid a lot more than he is now at Manly.

Who knows........maybe a future Sea Eagles coach???Chad is a good person, with some experience at London prior to coming back to manly. He is a good communicator and is on a learning curve. This extra experience will set him up for a longer career. Good luck to him.

Manly skipper Daly Cherry-Evans has distanced himself from the bunfight at Manly as chair and owner Scott Penn prepares to front a board meeting which is expected to determine coach Des Hasler’s future.
Sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed that a board meeting would be held as early as next week and Hasler’s future would be a major agenda item.
It is understood the parties have made little progress since the situation exploded a month ago amid revelations from News Corp that the Sea Eagles were confronting a myriad of issues heading into the off-season.
The most significant was the future of Hasler, who has one year remaining on his contract and has been pushing for an extension as part of a succession plan that would see him eventually step aside.

Cherry-Evans was keen to avoid discussing the situation on Wednesday as he joined the Kangaroos in camp for the upcoming World Cup tour.
“I have said my piece on it and there is really not much for me to elaborate on because nothing has changed,” Cherry-Evans said.
“As a player that is one thing I have learnt over the last few weeks – I can only control how we go about playing next year. I am looking forward to getting in there in the pre-season and helping turn things around.”
Cherry-Evans and Jake Trbojevic entered Kangaroos camp on Wednesday. They will fly to England on Thursday to begin Australia’s defence of the World Cup.
I guess it will run more like a business meeting where the owner ( Penn) will make supposedly informed decisions. Most businesses in Australia actually run this way… considering the vast majority are not publicly listed… in other terms it’s a management meeting I guess. We have one owner who controls the board? What is the point of a board meeting? Am I missing something?
Sounds like a way to not be accountableI guess it will run more like a business meeting where the owner ( Penn) will make supposedly informed decisions.
