I'm hearing from various voices that Penn intends to send Manly to the US competition where he can make more bucks. Granted the NRL owns the Franchise but I wonder if he can tell the players to move? I can't see how, but when there is a will there's a way. Watch this space...the noise is in next 4 years. I wonder what is in the sub clauses inside contracts?

The District Rugby League Football club holds the preference share that stipulates that location, colours, name etc cannot be changed.

The only way I see this happening is that he takes juniors over there and recruits locally. Maybe it a push to reinvigorate a US team in Super league. Obviously someone has a bit of backing to get happening.
At the moment the NRL team might get confidence from playing in a lower grade competition?

Well, considering The Penn's live O/Seas, they are very 'hands off '
They are out of touch and out of the loop.
Social Media is not a substitute for actually being in the same room, making mutual decisions.
The Penn's are aloof and detached.

Manly need Owners that love the Club as much as Russell loves his Rabbitohs.
Manly need owners that love The Sea Eagles as much as the Fans do.
Des isn't the most eloquent person, though I think he does love Manly, he just doesn't articulate it.
