Am I the only one to have been surprised how easily M. Wright slotted into dummy half .... where did that skill come from?

I have said before, the best game he has played for us was at 5/8 ... he just seems to get better the closer you get him to the action.

Yeah I know he is slow and useless and not first grade standard .... but Gee wilickers .... he is a damn good stand-by .... I like the lad.

I was actually thinking that on Sunday in- between screaming at the TV and wrestling the phone off my wife as she threatened to call the police if I didn't shut up ,so yes I thought he did well.I mean he is never going to dart from dummy half like Api but he seemed to pass reasonably well and new who to pass to so does anyone know if he has he got any sort of a short/long kicking game ?

He also filled in admirably in the halves last year. He is the answer to our prayers. All hail Lord Wright!

IMO he always gives 100% as he's really happy to be in 1st grade and it shows.

He may not be the fastest but is very dependable and happy to play whatever position he's asked to play.

Every team needs guys like this to be successful, it's not all about superstars.

I haven't seen a replay, but live I thought Marty caught that ball behind him. If he had let it go, it was actually going to be caught by one of our halves, out in front of them. Live, I blamed Marty for getting involved.
Could be wrong though, as I refuse to watch the replay.

Live to me (via Nein GEM) it looked like he didn't realise it was the last and thought Kapow was there to take a hit up. Thankfully Marty knew it was the last and gave it to someone (Jake) who could at least kick it semi-effectively.
