Lodge, you Monster

By the write up he played ok coming back from the Pec injury,

ALL EYES WERE ON...

Despite Blacktown Workers suffering a heavy loss to the Raiders, Matt Lodge was impressive in what was his first game since Round 11.

Lodge got a well-deserved try in the 74th minute to go with his linebreak, three tackle busts, 158 metres and 23 tackles — three misses.
Sort of player who hit's the ground running. One more good hit out from Lodge will see him come into Seib's team selections thoughts. May even be a Smokey for the Warriors game tbh.

I think the Sipley role will come into play for Lodge whether that is in the game day 17 or just outside it not sure

We are in a good position with players coming back from injury, I think Lodge(needs game time)in for Toff ( knee injury needs a rest ) , Paseka a couple of games in from time off , Aloia suspension and a few injuries hasn't played that much in the last month, Brown could be rested for a week, in a position were we can rest some players over the next 4 rounds,to go deep into the finals we need our big boppers healthy and fit

Scored a try, made tackle busts, went pretty well I'd say.
That effort by the Cookie Monster is worth at least 2 cookies

Reckon Lodge might get the bench spot if Taulau out, Koula to centre. Depends on how the Lawman is.
Agree, Lodge is the type of player who leaves nothing in the tank, good hit up merchant and has a good offload in him. We know Sips is on the improve but I'd be looking at Lodge for a bit of impact off the bench at this stage of the season.

Lodge is Infront of ALL our other big men IMO. I'm really hoping we do retain him. He's hardly been on the field for us, I suspect our club would want to get a bit of a look at him and where his body is at after on his latest return, before they'd be willing to talk numbers for next year and that's fair enough.

But that injury history should lower the price too. Risk vs Rewards. Id be trying to retain if we can.

Has a good offload in his game also, would like him in the 17 for the final two games against the Dogs and Sharks..
