It’s a tough draw to start the year and if we loose the first 4 while we get troops back on deck (yeh I know sailors are on deck) I won’t be too worried. But It would be good to jag a couple of wins while we’re under strength. Shame about Waddell. I was hoping by mid year he’d be played in and turning into a real weapon. We may not get to see the best of him till next year.

If we are 0 from 4 then kiss the season goodbye. We need to win atleast 2 of the first 4

Im happy to give Parker a chance at his preferred position. He has played most of his career at centre and to be continuously thrown to the wolves on the wing last year was unfair. Wing and centre are 2 totally different positions to play. Wing is a Specialist position and is easy to look like a rookie in the nrl when playing out of position. Ill reserve my thoughts on Parker until after rd 2 when Tom is due back. He is actually a solid defender, great technique but just got found out of position last year playing on the wing.
