Left field

I suggested Turbo to six a few injuries ago, copped a lot of sh1t for it
But he's such a smart player he would excell

Turbos role is already part non kicking halfback and part fullback. We do lose a bit from fullback due to how often we use him to break a line rather than burst through or work through an already stretched , hurried or fatigued line

Even with the frog , on paper we have a seriously good, experienced and dangerous spine but while the players are great our spine is still clunky. Brooksy running game adds a bit

The frog adds a calmness to our spine, not just a tackling machine. He needs to kick more andnot just from dummy half. Having DCE jump into dummy half generally indicates he will kick or run so if he passed to frog to kick it gives a variable . Not too often, Either way would like to see frog used as a utility more as i think it would showcase the skills he has more than 9

Brooks did fine and his price is awesome. Can still add quality around him on his coin but he knows he doesnt want to be number 1 and I think we will get great value from him if we respect that position

I think our spine s too predictable more than anything , just hold your line until we pass to tom,or oku because its coming regardless of opportunity

1 - Hoppa
6 - Turbo
7 - DCE
9 - Brooks
Interesting combination. I would say definitely better than what we currently have in the spine and more potentially Premiership winning in 25. Several reservations. 1. Turbo...I would be looking to preserve / protect him more, so I would not be putting him in at 5/8. 2. Turbo again....killed it at Centre for SOO and more recently for Australia. I would play him at Centre. He can be devastating from there (both sides of the ruck) and still influence strongly the play from the halves. 3.DCE Sounds like we might only have him for next season, so I would definitely be introducing both Joey Walsh and Onitoni Large sooner rather than later. 4. Luke Brooks at Hooker.....interesting thought. Only one way to find out and I would be doing this same time I bring either Walsh or Onitoni on from the bench. Lets see what Brooksy has to offer from hooker.

Think that Large is only 17 , so a bit of a wait there to get him closer to a higher level ,
Walsh is 19 i think and certainly a bit closer with his development to ideally get to the competitive requirement of N R L level
Think that Brooksey would be very , very reluctant to move to a 9 role and really would not serve the side well at all with most things considered

Onitoni is 18 next year and (apparently) at a higher level development than Joseph Suallii same age. He also played Jersey Flegg for Wests this year so no stranger to coming up against the bigger boys. Coming off the bench with Cherry outside of him and Turbo likely other side of him, he will handle the introduction to NRL no problem.

Maybe any "maxta" post on a Sat night after a bottle of Wild Turkey needs to be intercepted....popped in the bin....and not allowed to see daylight 😅
A whole bottle?? If you like the Wild Turkey then I would highly recommend Angel's Envy. Much smoother....and smaller bottle!!!

Dylan Edwards staring playing first grade at age 19 and next season is his sixth in the NRL. We are hasty to focus on the age but whether they are ready or not depends on the player.
I always believe if good enough age does not matter, but in saying that the step up physically for the youngsters can be a shock to the system and would always recommend 2-3 games at least in NSW cup or Qld cup.....just to adjust to the bigger bodies

We should not Generalise but Analyse feathered friend

The Fact is that It has been proven in the past that young players that have the talent and the toughness are old enough to mix it with the old blokes

The moral of the story ..
We are not all the same
Take each person on their merits

The Queen of the Left Kamala Harris is looking for a Job
Maybe Anthony Seibold can add her on his coaching staff as the Chief Motivational speaker ?

Here's an idea - maybe stop trying to politicise the dumbest $hit.
We get it, you're a RWNJ.
Can we stick to footy? Otherwise, feel free to set up a politics thread in the General section for your ramblings on Albo and Kamala.
To be honest, I'm surprised to even see you in a thread with 'left' in the title.

I wondered where the rest of my Wild Turkey bottle went Bozo, I now suspect you snuck in when I left the room @:p

I don't like the idea of turbo to 6 at any stage. If he moves from fullback it's centre and centre only in my opinion. He has a horrible kick on him, and in this day and age you need two kicking options on last plays, otherwise the one player gets bombarded. That, and you seriously lack attacking kicking options close to the line either side of the ruck close to the line.
