We did not lose it due to kicks mate, I know your trying to put it on DCE again, i get it, every loss its the same from you.

The wind was a LOT stronger in the first half, and the kicks we were doing in the second half were fine. A few unlucky bounces and could of had 2 or 3 40-20. And the mid field bombs were fine, they were difficult catches and they almost spilled a few, and then they were running it out from their own 10-20m from there. Cherry was often kicking from half way, never had much chance for an attacking kick to the corners.

We were flat around the ruck, the game was slowed down with too many penalties and stoppages, we played with basically 2 on the bench and for 60 mins with 12 on the field, and they were constantly given piggy back penalties out of trouble.

When we did get on a roll, the game was stopped twice by their trainer. Also, when we did put in good kicks and had them pinned and forced the error we dropped it on first tackle.

How can you build pressure when you are on the back foot for the whole game. Come on mate. Funa at 5/8 was a massive wrong call too, just got in the way. Should of been crocker at 5/8 and Lawton at hooker.

We lost the game for many reasons , but lack of pressure was a big one. Cherry kicked from halfway because his previous kick was shallow and that gave the knights better field position who marched upfield and mostly trapped saab deep in our own territory. You didnt see any of that. Of course you did but as always, you will choose to ignore anything that doesnt justify your own opinion. Funas fault. Dobbed on

With all of our injuries we needed our big game players to stamp there mark on the game consistently. Tom was well contained, marty stood up and cherries strength is obviously his kicking game. We needed his first half from the warriors yesterday.

Mate you are an excuseathon. Olympic class. We have to own our own misgivings and still could have won the game despite the added adversity if we played smarter..If you dont want to hear different opinions why do you shop online. Im not going to change my mind because you call me names and try and enforce your opinion on me. i came to the conclusion some time back , you are you and thats cool so i purposely dont engage you about DcE as its just the same old same old excuses . I read it, take it in and provide my own opinion to others because you and a few others throw the toys out of the cot instead of talking footy

Adam reynolds is the best kicking half in the game, cody walker rarely kicks. How does he manage what DCE apparently cant without having a 6 that kicks.

2 years that excuse rolled for. Then we got foran and it was the hooker. Then tom was out . Then tom came back and became chief playmaker, then schuster. The only time there isnt an excuse is when other players pull off a win and then its dont spoil the win man

Rather than trying to understand you have just tossed the toys out of the cot, again. The DCE fans are extremely hostile on here, aren't they - nasty stuff!. Someone even mentioned that Tom was quiet as well today...well he HAS carried the team on his back for a few months. He must be exhausted at this point.

Yesterday’s game was so important as it gave us a bit of a buffer.

just had a look on NRL site, we are equal last with the worst completion rate in the comp, we also were outright last for handling errors and outright last for negative play errors (whatever exactly they encompass) maybe theses are some areas that we need to address, we gave the knights some easy ball yesterday and made some basic errors, it was interesting to see where we are actually not getting it right statistically at least anyway.

Reckon a good part of those poor completion stats would have been in the i st four rounds , hasn "t been too shabby the past 6 weeks or so and with the improved results accordingly . Not too sure of the 2 nd half but only 43 % possession in the i st half and poor field position to contend with also against the knights . Actually on an individual basis , still was a pretty fair effort in terms of trying , just attacking structures way out of whack apart again from the costly ill discipline . Have been able to generally win pretty for the best part of two mouths but just did not have enough luck or cohesion and consistency yesterday to win ugly unfortunately .

Here’s another stat for interests sake, we have given away 47 penalties in 12 games, 9 of those in yesterday’s game, prior to to yesterday it was 38 in 11 games averaging around 3.5 per game without doing the maths prior to the knights game.
In defence of the knights they have conceded the least penalties 36 from 12 games including yesterdays single last minute penalty, averaging 3 per game.
There were a number of times the whistle should have blown on them yesterday and didn’t, but it is what it is.
We go from 3.5 per game to 9 and they go from 3 to 1.

yeah a few are very staunch. i suppose some have gone so far down the road of worship turning back would be like admitting there isnt a god

there were times yesterday where Turbo was everywhere in defence. unbelievable commitment to the team.is he the hardest working player in the NRL,such a waste at centre for the blues. I think we should be fearing burnout if he plays all games for the blues, backs up for us and then needs to lead our charge into the finals

if tom had of been out for 12 weeks instead of 4 it would have been a very brave qld that pick DCE at 7.

And yet klemmer who does that s$$t in the last minute when they already have won gets 2-3 weeks out, we get no benefit and the benefactors are parra next weekend who play them.

Why do you always blame chez though, he didn't lose the game because of some shallow kicks. It was the ill discipline that cost us. Wake up. The kicks were good enough to build pressure, we let them off by dropping it down their end when we had a chance, and they were given numerous dubious penalties, even when we had the ball!
