It’ll be a battle mate. Their forwards are still very good (on paper). Their 1-7 is pretty horrible but this brings us back to the field.
We need to match them up front.

I reckon our forwards are going as well as any pack at present in fact better than most

I wonder if we can bring any development players in at late notice? Can’t have Funa and Suli on the bench with Sipley and Ben as our only forwards.

I'm still not convinced after watching Burbo in the trial that his defence is up to first grade, I guess today we'll find out if he's been working on it, he was something of a turnstile in that game

Training and medical staff should be sacked during the bye. Hope Ben T has improved since last time I saw him play live he was a speed bump in defence very soft.

See the bubble bursting today all the emotion from last week and I don't see our reserve graders standing up again.

I don't like the idea of Lawton at 6... I understand the less disruptions the better rule, but imo what the hell is the point of buying a legit 9 midseason only to play him at 6 when we have a half at 9???
Surely were better off Lawton at 9, Croker at 6 (sole duty is shoveling the ball to tom/DCE) and burbo on the bench with sirro starting back row... More changes but we are much better with an actual 9 at hooker when ones available.. and let's be real, ALL the playmaking will be tom and DCE anywau

Croker has been training at hooker all off season and even when he was training at 5/8 full time he was serviceable at best. Lawton has played in the halves previously and is a good edge defender. I can see him playing a simplified role at 5/8 where 80% of the time he just feeds Turbo.

I think whoever plays 6 will have the same role...
Thats why I thought Lawton being a career hooker would be better option knowing were going in without that extra playmaker in the halves
