I’d imagine Croker to 5/8th, Lawton to Hooker and Saddler to start on the edge.

We’re cursed... if we dissected them all surely we could stich one good player together out of the four of them.

I wonder if we can bring any development players in at late notice? Can’t have Funa and Suli on the bench with Sipley and Ben as our only forwards.

Keppie can move to prop at any given time , Lawton going the full game as a 9 could be another matter . Don't have a problem with Suli having a good stint in the back row and would expect Saddler to start but he can easily slot into a prop role as well . Going to require a bit of astute juggling with positions to say the least

Brad Keighran may need to be brought in to play nine, Croker to 5/8. We are dead set decimated by injury with 8 forwards unavailable, and 4 backs. Turbo or no Turbo - this will be a huge win. Not even the Roosters come close to our injury list.

That 's a good suggestion , think that there is a provision for like for like when injuries restrict options from the main squad . Also can play in the halfs and a quite handy player and shouldn"t be overawed if he is being considered

The only other option I can think of is Lawton to 5/8 and Des brings up a another forward from Blacktown to put on the bench. Fainu perhaps?

Actually i am losing track of the original squad "s make up but there would still be Suli , Sipley , Burbo and Funa for the bench but Keighran could still be a helpful option to cover 9 as a sub and with Funa to 18 th man

Always a hard game up there, especially tough up until 4 or 5 years ago.

Without Ponga they have almost no points in them, remembering Pearce is out too.

Bradman Best will be their strike player. Wrap him up and defend well and we should win.

Be surprised if Lawton plays 6 at any stage but do vaguely recall noticing somewhere where he has played a bit of half "s footy at some level . Games like today , guess that nothing half reasonable can be ruled out to get some decent combinations going and to improvise .

I know. But we need to find a 5/8 out of Croker or Lawton. Which in turn would rob us of a hooker or backrower. We are so thin in the forwards right now, I can't remember a worse injury toll, even last season wasn't this bad.

Can we draft anyone in from reserve grade? Do we have any Fainu's or Hoppa's maybe?
