Josh Addo Carr stood down

Do the math on this...
The club has not played in the semi's for years.
So to help this situation the club paid a load of money for him so that he'd help them play in the semi's.
The club finally makes the semi's.
He says he's innocent - BUT, just decides to sit this most important game out?

I’m always an “ innocent until proven guilty” type person , as I’ve seen a heap of trumped up charges laid on people only to find they are not guilty at all.

But yes I agree with others , this’ll be a club decision and it’s to remove the media circus that would be the jury , judge & guilty before being proven deal.

Those arsewipes just want headlines & click bait.

The drive with drug charge is not the same as DUI. There is no need to prove your driving ability was impaired. The cops obviously didn't think he was impaired, but the offence is made out simply by having the substance in your system while driving.

So if you're not impaired why is it an offence to drive with it in your system?

BTW - my info is he was advised/told not to drive by the Police but did..

I actually think his energy is dangerous. Not so much his footballing but when he scores off the back of other people’s hard work, he usually yahoos to the point that his teammates and the crowd fire up and get a roll on. Energy is the dogs biggest weapon.
Agree. Plus he has a lot of big game experience.

But the likely answer is -
-obviously any drugs can potentially impair your ability to operate machinery (including prescription drugs)
-certain drugs are actually illegal !
-because they are illegal, there isn't the same political clout in the cocaine industry for example as there is in the alcohol industry, which has been able to say 'Aw c'mon, how about we let a little alcohol driving go free, and a bit more go small penalty, etc. We don't want to stop people drinking! Whereas for some reason the coke lobby hasn't been so successful in this argument to date. @:D

And where is PVL in all of this????.... not a word form NRL HQ (that I have heard). What a surprise.

Because nobody with enough money behind them has tested the law.
Run studies and proved that having had coke two days ago has zero affect
Or pot a week ago.
